Teddery Pendergrass dies at 59

Teddy Pendergrass an R&B singer of the 70's and 80's has died from complications of colon cancer. He was operated on 8 months ago but suffered a difficult recovery. Back in 1982 in was in a car accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down and in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. A year after the accident he release an album called "Love Language". He returned to the stage performing for the Live aid Concert in 1985. What a great voice and talent to die at such a young age - he will be missed.

He has been missed for quite some time. I heard this news on the radio driving home the other day and was completely stunned. There goes another one...

Ohh i am really sorry to hear that..he's one of my favorites in the 80's...Well, i guess we all pass when our time comes..he just went ahead..sad to hear for that because i like his songs...

Yes he was very talented and it was unfortunate that he had been in a car accident that left him paralyzed. Now dying at such a young age. Thanks for responding.

Yes he was a good artist I didn't even know he was sick with colon cancer.
