The Best Things In Life Are Free?

Is this true? Are the best things in life free? Some of us will give examples like love, happiness, family, etc... Yep, these are the best things in life and they are free. Or are they really? Love. It's not free. Love may not cost money, but it costs something. Those who have fallen in love knows they had to give up something. To stay in love, you have to give love too. Happiness. It's not free. Momentary happiness can be free like if someone makes a joke or you see something funny.. But think about something that will really make you happy, then think of what you should do to get that. Not free right? Family. It's not free. You need the basic necessities in life to have a family, and those cost a lot.

I think that the best things in life are free like fresh air, coast lines and countryside. I think emotions are free like happiness and love for people. My family make me really happy. I like to hear amusing jokes. Kindness is free. I like to see my baby girl's smile. The equipment I need for my children costs money. My household bills such as gas, electricity, water and phone cost lots of money. I choose to buy some things like food and drinks because I need to eat and drink. I also have bought furniture and possessions to keep in my home.

Fresh air today isn't free. I was born and raised in the city, the air was still semi-fresh then. Now, you need to go somewhere inhabited or get some gadget to take a whiff of fresh air.

well i guess, there are some free things left in this world. the air we breathe is free, the sky that gives morning and night is also free. at least for that we should be thankful. imagine if we need to pay for that :-??

I would be happy if I buy a toothpaste with a free toothbrush in it. I would be happy if I buy a detergent with a free fabric softener in it. Who else would not be happy knowing that there purchase had some freebies that comes with it? If a friend would treat me over a dinner or snack in a high class restaurant more often, then that would be great. If he sponsored a trip abroad, I would be happy because its free. If my company will give me extra benefits, I'm sure I will be happy. who else would not be happy if they are given these free things in their life? I don't see any of us getting angry or disappointed out of this free things given to us. I would say, the best things in this life are free. But, I'm only speaking about the material things.

Hi there... for me the best things in life are really free... for those that are not free, I considered them not exactly best. Laughter as the best medicine is definitely free, you don't need to pay anything for laughing as much as you want too. Loving and be loved is also free if you know that it is really a true love. Friends and family are free as well, you did not even pay a single cent to have them unless you buy friends. It is really ALL FREE if you know its true essence and meaning. Have a great day...

I totally disagree... family is free. You Don't need money or anything else for family. Family is HAPPINESS! Happiness is free, you just need some one to be loyal and loving to you. If you have that you don't need anything else ever! but if internet or bear is what your happiness is then yeah that is not free unless or until u get a free WIFI code ;)

Happiness. It's not free I disagree..happiness, TRUE happiness from deep within your core being, your soul etc most certainly IS free...It doesnt cost anything to appreciate and love being alive...

Well, I agree with the fact that the best things in life are free to an extent. Just to an extent, as if you mean free, as it costs no money, but there are other things that can be costly. Time for example, it takes time to acquire these things. Things that a lot of people who take for granted. Happiness can occur for free to a certain extent but are we truly happy if we had nothing? Basically those things are free but the steps that are needed to acquire those things will cost money. So the cycle continues. Nothing is free in life, unfortunately. While we can get some of those things to a basic degree, really to enjoy them to their fullest extent can be quite costly.
