If you are a fan of Showtime, what had you felt when you heard that this shown wouldn't air for 20 days? It had it's suspension because of this crazy and uncultured judge.
What have you felt and what are your opinions about it? Any violent reactions?

Yes I heard about the suspension of the SHOWTIME noontime show in ABS-CBN show...but I didn't not grasp the reason why they have to do it. Who is to blame? Who is the crazy uncultured judge? I'm not a fan of this show but I'm still curious why they have to suspend it. Too bad for the talented contestants they have.

oh now i get it, i just watched your link, its all about Osang hah, Well i think her intention was great, the problem was her deliberation, its a kind of 50/50 censored so it was considered censored. nothing new for the Lady.

Well, I do think the same. Her point is nice but the way he delivers it sux. xD
In my own opinion, Osang really feels that she's too intelligent in any field. She always thinks that she is right.
Well anyways, thanks for your response and thanks for dropping by.

Hi there brew2x.
You're right. It must be Osang who must suffer from suspension and not the entire Showtime Show. I do hope that after the 20 days suspension, they would get traumatized about this kind of judge, and I do hope that they won't invite such person.
Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

It's unfair. They should've suspend the host who commits the offense and not the whole show. In short, they should've sanctioned Rosanna Roces instead of Showtime. Suspend her for alteast 2 months. Since she's just a judge, sanctioned her that she cannot perform on TV (on any channels) for months so she will learn her lesson.
Why did I said this? It happened before. When Willie Revillame and Joey De Leon made some malicious talks on their noontime shows, did MTRCB suspend Eat Bulaga and Wowowee? They didn't. So why can't the MTRCB do the same on Showtime and Rosanna Roces?

Hi paoxav.
I do agree with what you have responded in this discussion. Especially the part about Joey de Leon and Willie Revillame. Only the two hosts who committed the said act were suspended and not their shows respectively.
MTRCB is totally unfair.
Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

Honestly I don't watch this show I'm only have read it on newspaper. They are suspended because unrespected way of judging of Rosanna Roces. She insulted the teachers and saying a bad word in the show. Since the show is live it is hard to edit what she is saying. I think it is appropriate to suspend it for a while and find a decent judges.

Hi agv0419.
Maybe it would be better if they would only suspend Osang rather than suspending the whole show since most people are not tuned on it.
They do have decent judges, it was just an accident having Osang there. It is really unexpected.
Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.

I think the board of directors of MTRCB are making a fuss out of it. I've seen the episode where the issue started, the showtime hosts take back what Rosanna said and praised the teachers instead. The management made a corrective action by evicting Rosanna the next day. So I think what they did was enough to save the show.

@maria. If that was the case, then there should be no reason why the show was suspended. But i guess that the issue has been blown out of proportion that even MTRCB and ABS-CBNs lawyers are now throwing jabs at each other. This surely catch everyone's attention. But i'm sure both parties will come to terms in no time at all. After all, there are issues that need to be on the headline than some petty misunderstanding over some insensitive remarks of someone who do just that.

I think there is some kind of lapse in the way the order was executed. I think MTRCB should have allowed ABS to submit to explain their side of the story. But MTRCB instead hastily issued the order. Now there seems to be a legal question on their move and is now pending in the courts to be answered.
But I do think that MTRCB has the right to question the show because that is their job. I am not questioning MTRCB why they find the statement of Osang Objectionable and discriminatory but I think they did not look into the side that the network had already made their move by removing Osang from the roster of judges as a way of self regulation. I think that is enough and the whole show should not suffer because of one person's statement.

Hi rsa101.
I do agree with that. Its MTRCB's job to monitor everything that is aired. But, what I think wrong from them is that they have totally suspended Showtime without even asking their explanation about it.
Maybe, it would be better if MTRCB would only ask Osang to their office than suspending the show because of her. Now the show and the fans suffer because of Osang.
Anyways, thanks for your response and thanks also for dropping by.
