why do we need ups?

u.p.s are of different types,my computer also have u.p.s. i don't know why do we need that?what process that it makes....

UPS is used to store the power supply for a while, so we need it in an emergency or power failure suddenly.

u need it because electricity networh have many ways to broke your computer :) and then your power company which is guilty washed their hands in advance , u can not do anything , you have to judge them if you want to pay u damages
