i cannot believe it!

I had to run into my local dollar store earlier today and had a look at their scrapbooking aisle (i hadnt been there since before Christmas) and i bought some really cute pewter embellishments.
After that, i went to Michaels because i had a 50% off coupon and i wanted to get something specific there. i saw the exact same pewter embellishments (different packaging) for a lot more money! i payed $1.00 and at Michaels they were $6.95. i was in shock!
i guess it does really pay to shop around when you are scrapbooking! where do you get your embellishments?

Have you ever tried Big Lots? They have scrapbooking stuff quite often as does Dollar General. At the moment though I have enough supplies to open my own store, lol!

I also like to buy them at the dollar store when they have some available....last weekend I bought one of those light up cutters with the six different edgers for ten bucks at Big Lots......I don't buy alot of stickers etc as I have a cricut and I do alot of embellishments with that.....also JoAnn's has a dollar section with cool stuff in it.

I don't really scrap book, but I do think it is really cool that you found such a great bargain, and I bet it did make you feel pretty good that you managed to save yourself so much money. It is always nice to know that you did good and got a really bargain on something. You did great, give yourself a pat on the back.

I don't do any crafts currently. I have not even built anything lately unless you count putting some of my kid's toys together Christmas morning. I have been working so hard lately and so many hours that I have not had time for any hobbies. I have not been able to get on here for like 3 days but since it is a holiday I have a bit of time today which is really nice. I am glad you found great bargains on your scrapbooking supplies.

Wow good deal! I love the dollar stores!I go to
them almost everyday! hey have a Dollar Tree here
and a 99 cent store, and a Dollar General. I like the 99 cent store the most.I
don't really like the Dollar General that much because some things are priced high.
That's where I get mine.

hi,
I know some place is really high on just the same item. I love to shop around and get the best deal. I dont want to pay over the price at all.
if you can find it somewhere else cheap then keep it that way cuz you will save a lot of money
