The "Doomsday Clock" has been set back to one minute, does this have any relevance to the fate of mankind's future?

Just out of curiousity, what is a Doomsday Clock. I don't believe I have heard that before. If it is like a time clock that tells you when you will die, then no. I believe noone knows when their time will be up.

it's a time set by some nobel prize winers, and considering the state of the planet they set a time untill midnight... and now due to the fact that global warming is here and that the worlds gouverments didn't come to an agreement related to polution Stephen Hawking put the time like 2-3 minutes away from midnight =)

Gladi you are absolutely right about the "Doomsday Clock" - only time will tell if Stephen Hawking prediction is true.
