I don't think he'll ever achieve Maradona's level. To start with, Messi performs better in the wings and not so well when he plays as a creative in the center, unlike Maradona who was one of the best creative players ever seen. I don't like Messi so much, I think he still has a lot to learn.

he is a talented football player , no doubt
but still he hasnt proved it , in my opinion , there is an extra hyppe , when people say ,that u are next maradona , then there is a hype as well as burden
well he is good in close control dribbling , he is really one of the emerging talent
