I use my laptap for everything, but before, I didn't use a mouse. I have a mouse now because I can't do Autocad and Revit without it. But with simple documents done on word or just surfing the net, the touchpad is enough hehe. Although I had a hard time using it the first time. I bought a cheap mouse, but a cute one. My friends say it looks like a bar of soap, but I said, atleast its cute hehe.

you should use the intelli-mouse,its a five button mouse that remembers the last move you made, great for autocad. for me its the other way around, i am trying to master touch pad control on my notebook, havent tried it for CAD, but i am curious why is a girl using autocad.

Is autocad only for men? Ehem! hehehe Anyways, I use autocad because I am an architecture student, now on my last semester, and I am doing my thesis. I also use autocad for some extra income hehe, getting small drafting prijects here and there. And reality check, the construction field, architecture, engineering, and the like, are not only for men anymore, there are lots of women in the field nowadays.

me.. I always try to avoid mouse and try to addict to keyboard to operate my pc. I felt its very important to operate my things with keyboard only. Its true that I always struggle to type my keys. Expecting renew technology which can understand my feelings and materialize them into text.

Well I am using a laptop. So there should be know point of using a mouse. But I am very much comfortable with a mouse rather than a touch pad. So I am using an USB mouse.

Hello, I also use a laptop. Sometimes I use the mouse, but I usually use laptop touch pad to move the pointer. If I want to edit the photos, I use the mouse for more easy do the design.

I use a laptop and the touch pad is pretty useless to me. That's why i have a mouse attached. It really amazes me how other can manipulate a laptops touch pad with out having a hard time. But i guess it just boil down to practice. but i still prefer mouse than the touch pad.

When doing work at MS Excel, I rarely use the mouse to navigate things on this software. Its because I knew the keyboard shortcuts to most of the tabs in it. But that the only time I rarely use the mouse, the other ones is completely relying on it.

I use a mouse when I have to. There are just certain things that have to be done with a mouse. However, I try and utilize any shortcuts when I can. I try to use keyboard shortcuts whenever I can. There are times where the mouse does have a mind of its own. Not moving correctly, so I try and cut down my use on it whenever possible.

i use both a laptop as well as a desktop... and when it comes to using laptop with a mouse, i don't have any problem using the touchpad too... because at work i use the mouse and at home without mouse... its been like that for almost 5 years now... got habituated to it now... so i am comfortable with both....

I don't have a physical mouse for my laptop. i use the touchpad and even that I don't use all that much. If I can I use simple keystrokes and the keyboard for everything I need to do. A mouse doesn't do me much good not being able to see so I don't see the reason in wasting my time using one. I'm sure I could do just fine without it, but I do use it every so often. It does come in handy once and a while when I get stuck.
