Hello this is my first post/thread in myLot.My question here is are you for or against smoking ? Do you think people should stop smoking because of all the harmful things that are in cigarettes or not.

Everyone should be able to decide whether or not they should smoke. We chase smokers and worship ex- and non-smokers, we create campaigns and promote our artificial care. We spend less money and make less effort for campaigns against crime. Isn't that a shame? Smokers are just people! Harmless!

hey there.. I'm against smoking.. although, how stupid it sounds, I'm a smoker myself :) but you see, even though I know it's harmfull, I like the process of smoking too much to quit it now..

It's really bad to our health but for people who just smoke not as a vice but only as an outlet to avoid much stress or boredome and they know their limitations of one to two sticks a day, that's okey. It all depends upon an individual, if he knows how to control everything he does and he's aware of the consequences, no problem.

For health reasons, I'm against it. And I think people should stop smoking since it's bad for our health. And the most affected people are the passage smokers, they are not users but they acquire the smoke coming from the person who smoke near them. If you are a smoker already, and you can regulate smoking. I think people should not make smoking a habit. Welcome to Mylot!

I am against smoking. I have calculated that if you smoke your whole life, that might not even be long(due to smoking) that you could spend about a quarter million dollars. Thats right 250,000 JUST on smoking. Just think what you could do with money like that!

I guess you could say I at one time or another I have been on either side of this question. I have been a smoker for over 15 years. I have quit 2 times in the past and today marks my second day of being smoke free for the 3rd time. You know what they say, third time is a charm

I am definitely against it .. since it results to a lot of diseases.Every part of the body is affected by that.It causes many types of cancers..and many deadly diseases.People think that it adds to their appeal but definitely it doesn't.
