Has this ever happened to you? I will be posting away, thoughts of what to say in my response, and poof, my response is gone. I think what it is, I start typing so fast that my fingers are going every which way on the keyboard, and I will accidentally hit the delete button, and I will look, and think what the? It has happened more than once to me, and it is so frustrating. I have to start over, and I would forget what I wrote to begin with, so I probably end up writing something I really didn't want to write. it really goes to show that I am persistent if nothing else so I will just keep going until I get it the way I want. I have no intention of ever starting over, but my fingers are doing way to much walking, and making me star over, Oh well, I am enjoying myself in spite of it. Does this ever happen to you? Please share. Everyone take care, and happy mylotting.

Yea, I am certainly going to have to slow down, as my hands are going faster than my brain can think, and they are walking all over the place and hitting kieys they shouldn't, and missing the ones they should. I am glad though, that it doesn't happen everyday, so I am glad for that, as it is frustrating to type it all over gain, especially when I know I don't type the same thing twice. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

haha wow thats quite unlucky. Nope i have never accidently deleted everything i have written before. You must be typing like really fast and your fingers must be all over for that to happen, well on my computer anyway :D

You are right, they are walking all over the place, as I am typing way to fast, but I have been typing fast for so long, I think it would be hard to type slow. I am sure going to have to try though, as I can't keep losing my posts over and over. The worst part is sometimes I am ready to submit my post, and poof, it is gone. That has happened a few time, but not to many, and I am glad for that, as when they are long posts, I hate to post them all over again, but I do it anyway. Thank you for our response, and happy mylotting.

That would kill me whenever that happened. I've learned over the years to copy EVERYTHING before I send it on because I know it could very well get lost in cyberspace anytime. No matter which forum I'm in or wherever and it doesn't matter if I'm just typing a sentence. I ALWAYS copy so that if it does happen to me all I have to do is paste it. What I used to do in myLot in the very beginning before I had 500 posts and therefore wasn't able to copy and paste whenever I lost a post...........I would still copy it before I sent it. If I lost it I would paste it into Word and then simply copy (retype) the post into myLot again. That's what happened to me a couple of times and that's what I did. It worked beautifully too! You're welcome, rosekiss. I'm glad I could help! Also, if you find that you are typing something very long get in the habit of copying every paragraph or so. That way if you do lose your work you may only lose a paragraph at the most. Have a great day! Purrs, Catwoman=^..^= & Mija

You have given me some good ideas as I should have been copying my posts all the time, as I never know when I am going to accidentally delete them. It would sure save a lot of time posting all over again, that is for sure. I never thought I wouold have to go that route, but me typing so fast, I am hitting all kinds of keys, ones that I don't want to hit as well as the ones I need to. I even hit the wi fi key sometimes and take me offline. It just happened a bit ago trying to post back to you, and I didn't copy that one, so I had to type it again. It is okay though, as I think I had more to say this time than the first time anyway. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

It ever occurred to me, when I write I marked all the text that I wrote and hit a letter or number then my text is missing in the box. I had to write back, and in the middle of the trip was suddenly my network disconnected. Maybe because I typed in a hurry so forgot to copy it into notepad. It sucks because it causes my mind cannot write if the situation is like that.

I have never had my connection fail, and I am sorry it did for you. That had to be aggravating for sure. I think my problem is, I go so fast that my fingers will start wandering to other keys and then poof, it is gone. I am trying to take my time posting, but I am so used to typing fast, that to go slow just isn't something I am used to. Oh, I did at first when I got the laptop, but now that I am getting used to it, I am starting to go fast. I am having fun in spite of all, and that is all that matters. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

I have never had that happen so far, but just a bit ago, when I was commenting back to one of the other responses, I accidentally took myself offline when I hit the wifi key. I have to keep my finger from walking up to that key, now won't I? Anyway, I am glad that I don't lost my posts everyday, but it does happen more than it should. I am just going to have to watch it better and not go as fast as I have been. I guess we all live and learn. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

Yep, that happened to me too a lot of times. Sometimes I do it all over again, sometimes, I just move in and forget about it especially if what I had typed was already quite long--grrr.....that can really kill me. It happened to me more than once so I guess we're not alone in this experience.

that is the worst when it is a long post and all of a sudden it just vanishes. I was ready to post one day, and my post was gone, and boy, needless to say, I wasn't a very happy camper, having to do it all over again, and it was quite long. I don't think I said the same thing the 2nd time, as I did the 1st though, but all in all, it ended up not being to bad a post. I just wish I hadn't deleted it by accident. Got to keep my fingers from walking all over the place, that is for sure. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

I have had it when I couldn't submit my response because I would get a blank page, so I would hit the back button try it again, and then it finally goes through. I am using a laptop, and I think it is easier to delete my posts than a desktop could. I just wish my fingers didn't do so much walking and stay on the keys and not do what they shouldn't. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.

Hi rosekiss..Oh my God..I had to laugh out loud at your post because this happens to me FREQUENTLY!! It is sooo fustrating..I am a very fast typist,,probably to fast for my own good cause I do the same thing. I'll hit the highlight entire paragraph button accidently and poof..gone...then worse than that is, sometimes my work will disappear so I start over, repost it and when it posts, my first one is there!! I feel so stupid..especially when you can never word it exactly the same twice and people must think.."look at this twit"" she must be praticing to see what response we like best" or something similar..I'm so glad that I dont know these folks and think to myself..Oh well, I'll never talk to that person again, hopefully..I hate embaressing myself even if I am giving amusement to others..Oh well..I think too, that this laptop keyboard is so much smaller than my desktop and my fingers just dont adapt to it that well...that sounds good dosen't it?? Well thats my story and I'm sticking to it!! Have a lovely weekend...J

Answering this response, my comment went poof. I guess I am getting good at deleting my posts. I think I am like you that I type way to fast, and end up hitting a key I had no intention of hitting. It can get frustrating, but hey, I just do it all again, anyway, and hope the second one is like the first, but usually, it is totally different. Thank you for your rewsponse, and happy mylotting.

Oh trust me your not the only one with that problem. It happened to me a lot of times, but it wasn't because I accidentally press the delete button. I get a lot of errors from my internet browsing at that's quite annoying most of the time T_T. Sometimes I even forget what I wrote before but that's how things are...

Yea, when it happens to me, I forget too, so when I go back to do it again, I know it is worded differently. I am almost tempted to start writing them all down on paper so if it happens again, I can just copy it. It does get frustrating at times, especially when I am kist about finished writing it, and I delete it. It isn't so bad when I first start, but to have it happen at the end of my post is really aggravating. Thank you for your response, and happy mylotting.
