Help Meta Key Robots? Meta Author?

I have my site almost perfect i need thecodes for meta robot and meta author. Where do i put them after that in the html right? Wow my eyey hurt; can some of you genius' help me out i need just two things. This is my last resort lol.

put the code before close of head tag

sorry the tag you want cannot be write here, but write like this use to close the tag. and repeat with following tag meta name="robots" content="index, follow"

Meta tags always go within the head elements. For more into and attributes, see w3schools.com (http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_meta.asp) OR... ...you can use a meta tag generator. Copy & paste. No fuss. No muss. For example: (http://www.addme.com/meta.htm) or do a search for one.
