I have accidently broke something that was not mine. I was cleanning my moms house and broke this special plate she had made and painted. I felt so bad and she was so mad. I didn't know what to say except I was sorry and it was an accident. I never meant for that to happen. I still feel bad to this day. It was her keep sake and I broke it. I am alot more careful when I clean her house now. I really try to watch what I do. I don't want another inccident like that happening ever again!

Of course I do,the feeling is so bad that I am worry about her/his reply about this, though it is an accident, but I am still very sorry, once the glass-stuff is broken,it can't come back to normal,so as far as careful when touching the easily crashed stuff!

I've accidentally broken a few things before that didn't belong to me. Mostly my mom's dishes while washing them. However, one time it happened to be one of her candle sticks. One of her favorites to be more precise. She had lent the set to my friend's mother and when I had been visiting my friend I caught her little sister twirling it around in her hand. I got it back from her before any damage could be done and I tried to explain to her that it shouldn't be treated like that. As I was explaining it I imitated exactly what she had been doing. Yeah, I know, bad move on my part. What can I say, I was just a kid myself. I was just trying to emphasize my point. Anyway, as I was twirling it, it broke...right in front of my mother who had just arrived at their place to come pick me up. Boy, was she mad at me. I tried to explain what happened, but she didn't want to hear it. She had seen enough without needing an explanation. To this day she doesn't know what really happened. And I'm not about to bring it up! Happy mylotting!

I had a similar incident...but I don't know if you might call it broken thing or what...It all started when I borrowed my sister's favorite jeans and I accidentally broke one of the waist button. WHen I got home and she saw it she sort of got mad and all of a sudden I was to blame...yeah me and my big hips...she went through the pain of having to repair it again so she could wear it the other day. At that moment, I don't borrow her stuff that much anymore. I don't want to be put into blame again ever! But one thing I learned here, don't wear someone else's jeans especially when she's not your same size..LOL...anyway nice topic you started here tuckersheri...happy mylotting.

Well I have once broken the video game set of one of friend about 5-6 years ago. I felt very shy at that time. But my friend didn't complained me about it. I did not had to give the penalty. But I knew, I had broken an object of others....

Hi Tucker, yes i did and it was so embarrassing. i was inside a gift shop when i accidentally bumped the partition where a bottle of cologne spray fell down. the staff came to me and helped me out with the mess i made. i paid the damage. good that it was not so expensive and i have an extra money then. i am more careful now in going to areas in the mall with glasses or anything that i can break for no reason.

I've dropped dishes and other things that my family owned and they of course broke. I was in shock and thought I'd be scolded for it, but it was an accident. My hands will sometimes stop working aall togeather on their own which isn't always plesent. I also broke a plane that George had on top of a display case. he provoked me and I fell back somewhat, and the towal I was holding crashed into it. Needless to say plane landed on the floor and he was preaty pissed over it. But I told him I was sorry and eventually he forgave me for it.
