I am clearly not a morning person but sometimes I just admire people who are the morning person type. Where do they get the energy to do stuff in the morning?! I usually like to keep sleeping instead of eating breakfast so I skip it most of the time, but I do like to eat breakfast. I can never speak enthusiastically in the morning until I am fully awake ( usually after taking a bath or waking up at least 12 pm) So which are you are you a morning person and where do you get the energy to do that? And if you are not a morning person what stuff do you usually like to do in the morning?

Generally i am not, but im trying so hard to be! I find that the sooner i get blood pumping, the better my day turns out. I dont mean wake up and start doing push-ups, but if i get outta bed and do some simple stretches (like i did in high school gym class) then i feel MUCH better!

wow stretching after waking up! that's a scene in our house if I do that. If I wake up slightly and stretch I'll just enjoy stretching in my bed and covers and then end up sleeping again, so hard to wake up lol

I wish I have experienced to be a morning person. I always miss breakfast and my mom often says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and because of me being a non morning person I skip the most important meal of the day :(

I myself am not a morning person, though I try to be for the mornings I have to get our 7 year old son up and off to school. My husband and son both know not to say much to me until I've had a few drinks of my morning Mt. Dew. My little 2 yead old girl is different though, she doesn't know momma needs her caffeine. I have tried to be chipper, and full of energy but it just doesn't come that easy for me. My husband is a morning person, he can get up out of bed ready to take on the world. Makes me wanna gag him, lol.

I am not a morning person either, not at all. In fact, you can't even talk to me for awhile. I also skip breakfast most of the time. I'm not a big fan of breakfast foods anyway so when I can I like to sleep until lunch time. :) I wish I could be as well because then maybe I could get more things done around the house. I find that getting a shower is the only thing that really wakes me up.

We are very much alike! When I get up, I don't usually talk until I take a bath lol. It's like I seem grumpy in the morning but I am really not I am just not in the mood to talk when I haven't fixed myself just yet. Sometimes washing my face helps clear the mood too.

i'm no morning person. Usually people greet each other in the morning, i just look at them and may look like i ignore them but in my own way i greeted them. I am very tire in the morning and pretty much has a short fuse in the morning.

I understand what you mean completely lol! Sometimes when I do greet in the morning I just nod my head and that probably makes them think i am grumpy in the morning which I am not.

Hi enciel, I am a morning person and I should get up in early morning to send my son to school. Even if there is a holiday, I don’t like to sleep more time in morning and sleeping more than usual time make me tired and sleepy. For me, getting early is good for my health. Yes I am energetic in morning and taking a bath in early morning will add my energy and I feel really fresh. I think sleeping upto 12 is too much but you may be awake in night. Have a great weekend.

Hey enciel, I just wonder when did you usually sleep? After midnight or even later? For me I seldom sleep till to noon, even in the cold winter, I usually get up around 10AM in the weekends. In the weekends, I don't want to ruin my day by lying bed too much lol, always try to find something to do.

I usually sleep after midnight. I understand what you mean lol! sometimes when I wake up and realize I slept too much, I get sad that I wasted a lot of time just sleeping and missing things to do during the weekends and the cycle repeats I sleep late and wake up late

Personally i'd love to be a morning person, but im just not :P I find getting up on a morning for college to be one of the hardest things ever and i wish it was easier. But yeh, i find it much easier to stay up late. but not too late because getting up is already hard as it is :D

Its not so tough to be a morning person at all, once you are in the routine of getting up early, you kinda get used to it. I used to be a person who would get up late and stay idle for a long time, forget breakfast. but then i got a job and being on time was mandatory. now i cant sleep late at all. I do miss those days when I could wake up late and do things at leisure. The energy doesn't have to be from food or any energy drinks. Its your body that gets used to being active at that time of the day. Its amazing how our body gets trained to waking up early or late. Try waking up early for 2 days and the 3rd day you'll see that you are up and your body is active on ts own, as simple as that.
