Our parents were the one who plays major role shaping our personality and confidence. They're the one who shows and teach us so many things in life as we grow up. So if there's one best thing that your parents taught you, what would it be?

hello careguarden... there are so many things that i have learned from my parents...they taught me many things in this life and all the basic things that i need to know in order to survive in this life... but one thing that i really consider the best that they taught me is to have faith on God and on what He can do in my life and to live my life according to His way & will...

hello careguarden, yeah same here. i am also very thankful to my parents for teaching me about God and faith on Him. i think if we have faith in God and on what He can do in our lives, we will never go wrong..as long as we live on His way. and knowing Him and His teachings is the best that we can have in this life coz He have already taught most of the things that we need to know...

It's the same thing with me ckyera, my parents taught me to love and believe in God, before I take it for granted but later in life I learn that my parents were right and grateful that they never give up on teaching me about Him. Now my faith is my greatest source of strength and love that I need in order to get through life's greatest challenge that is to live and never give up. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

My parents taught me by modeling. I used to do good if possible in all my life. My parents taught me this by what they show unto us. They are good parents and if there are negative things that I can see, well its normal as humans but generally my parents are good people. I learned a lot from them and they really shaped us into a good persons in our community. I appreciate it and thanks them for what they are showing. I thank God for giving me these kind of parents.

You're lucky to have those kind of parents. Because not everyone can have a good, loving and supportive kind of parents. I'm glad that you appreciate all their effort for showing you what is right and good. Like you, I am also grateful to God for giving me the kind of parents that I have now. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

that we are all the same black, white , or whatever you cut them we all bleed the same color so not to judge people by their race religion or creed an I am teaching my daughters the same thing to look beyond the color of a persons skin

That's very good teaching, since most people judge by peoples color, race and religion. If a person think that others would be the same and thus have a right to be treated fairly and not be judge then there would be peace and love in this world. That's very good, you teach that to your daughter to value others and I'm sure she will grown up to be a good and loving woman. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

I wont forget those times were life was really for me, My Father said to me, Life is like a Marathon, i does not matter if you came last the important thing is you finished the race, when the going gets tough, the toughest remains.

You're father was right! Life is like a race but it doesn't matter who's first what matter is you finish the race. That's what my grandfather also said. And it really helps a lot, especially those time when you get lost the game and you want to give up. After all when we die we're not going to be ask what we get from life but rather how we live our life. Anyway thank you for sharing with us and enjoy your day!

My parents fought a lot of the time but then will through it all - You could tell they loved each other. Its hard to put into words. The one thing they taught me or the biggest thing they taught me is - love overcomes all things.
