The Master Key

The Master Key System written by Charles F. Haanel was written in 1912. It was banned as it ruffled the feathers of many. Has anyone read or taken this course? What do you think of it. It's law of attraction and how to think and feel material might be viewed as New Age, but the philosophy is centuries old.
I feel Haannel gives a clear understanding of what the law of attraction is about.
