Yup same here, I spent 40% of the my time in the computer chatting, playing games, and trying to make some money. But till now I haven't got paid well only one website that paid me $0.01... I would love to work online with out them asking too much question or asking a lot of info.. But it's hard to find a job online.

I chat, but I don't spend hours of my life doing it all at once like some people do. Nor do I consider it a waste of time when I do it. I consider it a useful way to reconnect with people who may be across the country or the world.

I only chat with my friends for necessary communications or a short saying "hello". So I think it's enough and not a waste of time.

hmm well it depends. I think it's more about discipline and self control. I also find myself wasting too much time playing games on facebook while I am supposed to read my book for school. I think it's ok when you have free time. However, a balance between work and leisure is importnant.

hello sandy! i am a chatter and i dont think i am wasting time with it because my chatmates are all my friends! i, however, am wasting my time chatting with someone who is poor in english and is having difficulty understanding me... So, sorry i had to delete them. My chatmates are all valuable to me. Each day we learn from each other new stuff!

A lot depends on your definition of chatting and also on what you would be doing if you were not chatting.I prefer to chat with friends here than to spend time in front of a TV doing nothing and achieving nothing. I consider spending time with friends, encouraging each other and cheering each other's day is time well spent, so I allot a certain length of time to myLotting and this time does not interfere with my work.
