Maybe I just missed the discussion, but I have yet to see anything up here on the whole Leno vs. Conan thing...or maybe more accurately Leno and Conan vs. NBC. Anyway, I've never found Jay Leno all that funny, so I was happy when Conan took over The Tonight Show. I am sort of bummed that Conan is out, and that NBC is going to put Leno back on at 11:35. I won't be watching. What are others thoughts on this? Would you prefer to watch Leno or Conan?

well, to be honest, I like Dave better than Conan or Jay. This whole thing between Jay and Conan really is low. The last I heard is that Conan is refusing to go back to the later time slot. I don't know how much leverage Conan has in this whole deal. All the other late night guys have really been tearing into Jay, even on his show. It kind of makes me wonder if there's more low down stuff going on than we know about.

Well, Letterman digs on Leno because The Tonight Show should've been his after Carson left. Mostly everyone backs Conan because a lot of people feel NBC are doing the same thing to him that they did to Letterman.

defintely conan. I hope he will be picked up by FOX or NBC will reconsider their decision. I doubt it though because Conan has been making alot of negative statements about NBC. I don't think they will be in a mood to do him any favors.

The negative attacks from both Leno and Conan (and even Letterman and Kimmel) have been good for NBC's ratings. They aren't sore about that. Leno is even getting rewarded with his old time slot back.

I am definitely on team CoCo. Conan O'Brien for a while was off of my radar, and I was actually annoyed by him. In recent years, my mind was changed and I really had some great belly laughs while watching his show. Jay Leno is well past his prime and should just reitre. Better yet get rid of unfunny and martian looking Jimmy Fallon, maybe put Jay after Conan. I like that solution lol. I just made a video blog about this, if you wanna check out my rant. I am also for Conan in all these drama. I am just watching Conan right now. And in his way to further hit back at NBC, he just showed a skit which is not at all funny, but very expensive. He just showed an expensive car dressed like a mouse with a theme song that has expensive rights. Total cost of the skit is $1.5M. The skit is not funny, but the idea is hilarious. How about what Dave is saying. He's meddling in this NBC affairs is also very funny.

I was really happy when it was Conan's time to take over, and I think it's dirty what NBC is doing to him. And Conan has every right to be pissed at NBC and refusing to have the show moved back to 12:05. If they had better writers for Leno's earlier show and let Conan do what he was doing on the late show then the ratings would be good and there would be no need to screw someone over.
