My methods for managing my time are things I normally wouldn't recomend anyone to do. Quite often I stress out an panic racing around like a chicken with its head cut off. Not a plesent or nice picture I know, but things eventually get done. I am not very self-motivated as I should be, but things get done eventually. One of the most tricky would being sure I eat regurally. If I don't I feel the effects especially when I have a lot to do and I'm moving constently. However, if i'm lounging around typing, not as much.

...Hi kaylachan, There are those of us who are unorthodox in our behavior, I am one of them. I tell people that I operate out of organized confusion. When I was selling real estate, my desk was completely covered with everything, but when the secretary needed a contract for a sale I was working on, I could put my hands on it in a few minutes. We function in a way that works for us. Others may not undestand, but that is the way it is. I, was by the way, the second highest lister in the company, so I was doing something right. Whatever works for you, you should keep doing it. I would suggest you watch your eating habits, carry some energy bars with you and maybe incorporate Vitamin E or a multi-vitamin on a daily basis. Thanks for your reply and take good care.

...Hi kaylachan, God bless. Please research something called JuicePlus, it is fruits and vegetables in a concentrated whole foods form, which replenishes body cells. It is in pill form. Many people have been helped by this product, asthma sufferers no longer need their medication, after taking juice plus for four or five months. Rheumatoid arthritis sufferers have been helped. Good luck to you. Take care.

The tirdness is due in large to both Hypoglycemia and Cerebral Palsy. Even though I make an effort to eat regurally to keep my sugar from dropping too much, There is only so much I can do. Even though I eat, sometimes the Cerbral palsy catches up with me, and I end up tired regardless of what measures I take. My muscles can only do so much before they say "i've had it".

I'm pretty good at managing my time. I get done most of what I want to accomplish in a day. I'm almost always on time for appointments. I have a good reputation when it comes to keeping appointments. My secret is to make a list of things I want to accomplish each day and stick to it.

....Hi there 1hopefulmam, I know you do a good job of managing your time, because of all the good work that you do. The part about listing all the things you want to get done, to me is a smart one. That way you have a hard copy right in front of you for direction. Organization is what it sounds like you are doing, to make sure you accomplish what you want. Keep up the good work. Take care, thanks for your input. Always nice to hear from 1hopefulman.

This interesting as for the first time this year I have been thoroughly planning what I am going to do each day in order to improve my time management. What I have noticed is that because I am following my plans for each day I am able to get more done that in the past. Something I noticed within the first week when I was able to do the equivelant amount of jobs I use to do but in less time because I am working to a plan. So I would say to anyone looking to improve their time management is to set up a daily list of tasks which you schedule in a specific order and follow to the letter as you will be surpised at how more efficient you become.

The key to managing time effectively is to concentrate on results, not on being busy. It is important for you to understand that you function at different levels of effectiveness at different times of the day. If you have kept an activity log for a number of days, you may see that a pattern emerges of times when you think clearly and effectively and shift a lot of work. You may find that your energy levels throughout the day are driven by your eating patterns. Having a good breakfast with plenty of carbohydrate will keep your brain supplied with sugars for the early part of the day. Had written this one in one of my articles.

...Hi there fulltank, This is a very well written piece of advice to anyone wanting to improve their time mangement skills. The functioning at different levels is an important point, if you gear your activity to those higher energy levels, by knowing when they are, you can certainly be sure you would get more accomplished. Thank you for giving is very good points related to improving time management skills. Take care.

...Hi karthi, Well I would think that with that kind of a threat hanging over your heads, you kids would have made sure that you would be at school on time. I know that I would have. I liked school, so getting there on time was no problem for me, as I remember it. Being punctual means that you care about what you are doing, and that is a very good thing. You are very correct, practice as they say makes perfect. Thanks for an interesting response. Take care. Enjoy your day as well.

take 5minutes before your sleeping time to do this: 1. state things that you are going to do the next day 2. arrange it according to priority 3. arrange a simple time table for that 4. when you find some gap in between, put your meal time or reading here. 5. put alarm on your handphone to alert you 6. you can go to bed and have a nice dream.

...Hi kent90, The things you outline, for which I thank you, appear to be quite logical and would be very helpful in making the most of your time. I think organization and prioritizing as you and some others have mentioned, are the key to making the most of your time and getting things done. I also think if you stick to the steps, you will find that you get more done, as someone else mentioned they were able to do as well. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your insightful information with us. Take care.

Hi there artistry! I think I am somehow good at managing my time. I am no expert but I try my best to manage my time. I have so much to do in such a short time. That is why I have to manage my time properly. I think that it is important to know your priorities. That's step one in time management. You should also be aware of your available resources needed to complete your activities. Set aside the not-so-important activities that might be taking much of your precious time.

...Hi there dolce_vita78, You sound as though you are looking at the big picture and know how to get the most done that you can, in the shortest amount of time. Thereby making good use of the time that is available. That is a good thing, because I think as you say, we don't prioritize and therefore we are left not accomplishing what we really want or need to. Thanks very much for your input. Take good care.

Hi artistry, yes time management is just innate in me, I think it follows on from being punctual. It doesn't always go to plan as today for instance, I asked the Greek to wake me when he left, which he did, and then promptly fell back to sleep the whole morning, completely messing up my time scale. Never mind it's Saturday. Tips for time management. I loathe housework so sweep upstairs while the coffees on, and spray the bathroom with some blue stuff before I leave the house. I only go to the Greeks on days when I combine it with shopping in town, that way I don't need to drive up to town an extra time, saving me 2 hours.

...Hi thea, It sounds like you have it under control. Even with a few setbacks here and there, you are able to make the most of your days and get the things done that are important to you and need to be done. You have time allotments and it seems that you stick to them most of the time. That means you life is ordered in a fashion that works well for you, which is the most important thing. Thanks for stopping by. I do appreciate hearing from you, I'll leave out the honored thingee "o). Take care.

I am not good at time management.Basically, i dont have any plan for the day because i do not have an assurance that i will work for it. Time management from its meaning managing time effectively and efficiently. If you do it you are emphasizing the saying "time is gold." Making a daily plan for the day is a good thing to organize all the things that you will be doing for the day. All i can say is that if you are doing it you must take not what are the things important/ very important.Do not do all the things that is not really important.

...Hi nexan29, Welcome to the ranch, enjoy. I think you have stated something that makes a lot of sense. If you are going to get things done, then what you do is to prioritize. What are those things that are truly important to you, and the next important and get those things completed. Those things at the bottom of the list, leave them for whenever. Keep that up and you will probably have some time for those less important things as well. Sounds like a plan to me "o). Thanks for your input. Take care.
