I have been having period cramping for the last 8 weeks, but NO PERIOD. My last period ended November 16th, and I have not had one since. But, there is cramping that feels like menstrual cramps. Also, I have taken 2 home pregnancy tests which were both negative. So, whats going on???

Consider yourself lucky? I have mine every 15 days. Seriously though, would call and make an appointment with your OB if it continues like that just to make sure there is nothing actually wrong.

Sometimes pregnancy tests can give you a false negative, especially if you take it at the wrong time of the day. The best time to take these tests are in the morning. That's what I've heard anyway. You may want to go to your OB and get a blood test. Those are more accurate than urine tests. Of course, it could be something totally separate from a pregnancy.

I really don't know, I haven't experienced that kind. It is good to visit a obygyne to check on your condition. Maybe there is a blood clotting so that is why there is no blood that you will see coming out. the most safe way is to visit an obygyne now, to check. So that if you need some medicine to take for the cramping, it will minimize the pain now.

First I would have to ask if you've been under a lot of stress lately. Stress can really set your cycle out of wack. If you're sure that you aren't pregnant than there could be another medical condition going on that you should get checked out by your doctor. The fact that you have been cramping for eight weeks straight is something you should really get checked out. Take care of yourself.

There are many things that can affect your cycle like others have mentioned and it is not unusual for women to skip a period occasionally. If you know you are definitely not pregnant I would wait until next month and see if your period comes then; if it doesn’t I would go and see a doctor who may able to confirm what may be going on with a simple blood test. Good luck...

i think you should call the doctor asap. I hope everything is okay. I knew a girl who had something similar happen to her and I think it was a cyst. Go to the doctor.

Do you know when you are ovulating?? It is usually 14 days before your next period. Are your periods heavy and painfully when you get them? It could endometrioses.. You should go to the doctor for a check up and see what's happening.. I get painful periods then when I ovulate I get pain too then a week before my period then it stops then a few days before my period starts the pain comes back.. It's annoying.. Chart your cycle it may help you find a cause or help you see a rythem to your cycle etc.. Good luck

hmmm this is not good at all. Before you start to panic, wait for another week. Maybe it's just late. It hapenned once when it skipped for a month too or that I had it twice a month. Maybe do you have alot of stress? It's one big factor that can mess up your period cycle. Sleeping not properly or not eating well could also be the cause. When i was studying for my exam, I would sleep at 4 am then wake up at 7 for school. Then sleep at 6am and wake up at 12. Your sleep should be syncronized. Eating healthy is also important like milk and vegetables. If you still don't have it, you should take an appointment with a doctor or ask advice at a pharmacy.
