If I want to have a background for my mail in Outlook Express the picture that I select gets uploaded multiple number of times touching each other and the size also is enormous. How can this be rectified?

mutables of the same picture connected or rather interconnected is called tiled formatt. One way to solve this siituation is to adjust your settings to streached, or centered which will scale the picture down for you. tiled is most common when covering a large area. This is done to cover the entire space provided.

That seems to be the problem but I searched everywhere and I could not find any place where I can change this. For the desk top background we can do this I know. Where do I find it in Outlook Express? Thanks in advance.

It took me a while but I finally figured it out. I disabled 'allow tiling' but the picture gets stretched as it is a background picture. Thank you.
