How to handle people who loves to say bad words to you?

There are some people in this world never knows what means by respect and being polite to others in their language.They will speak bad language all the times whether they are educated or not.They will always make others feel uncomfortable with them.They will never try to control their language a bit and just showing their self-centered personality all the times.I think we will meet people like that in every culture.People may start to learn language like that when they were kids from their family or with their peers or whatever reason it was,but you just don't feel comfortable with people like them.But it became a habit to them and it was the way they speak even when they grow up.Well,what is your opinion regarding to this issue?

I think that it is very important for people to respect others in the way that they talk. I realize that you cannot correct an adult for the way that they speak to other people. However, I will tell the friends of my children that they shouldn't be talking the way that they are when they use language that I don't think is acceptable. I've never had anyone tell me that I shouldn't correct the children when they talk out of line.

Yes,you can control how they will be when they grow up but you can surely help them when they are still kids.Lots kids never learn how to respect others because of the failure of family education and modelling from their parents.When they grow up as teenages ,they will be influnce by thier peers and it is hard to teach them like what we can teach them as kids.Therefore,it is always important to teach them some universal acceptance value in a repeactful society as early as we can.They need guildance and they need to learn from adults.(For sure it is not from those bad guys who will always think of bad things all the time.)

i respect others because my parents brought me up well and that i wanna be respected by others, too.
people are different. some people say bad words just as a sort of expression or a habit but they don't mean to hurt you.
however, if they talk to you by calling you names or insulting you, that's a different story.
we don't ask for respect, it is freely given. therefore it is important that we should respect others first.
i have met a lot of people from diffeent walks of life and from all over the world. i've met people who don't know how to say things politely but it's their nature so i don't take their words personally.
it's also not a requirement to mingle with these people because we have the freedom to choose the company of people we wanna be with.
i haven't experienced someone saying bad words to me because they know what kind of person i am.
we can't make all the people like us in such a way that we can't like all the people all the time. each one is unique.

Although I agree with you that people are different and to accept others are important as well,I don't think that people will enjoy being with someone who loves to saying bad words to others.But I think people will have different levels of acceptance,but not everyone will be comfotable with people who never learn how to respect others.By the way,it seems like your answer tends to be acceptance only,and it seems there is nothing we can do.I think we can at least choose not to be around with these kind of people rather than just take their unrespectful words continually.To those who never know how to respect others,sometimes we have to teaching him to watch their month by inviting the police to step in.The laws in each country is different.In my city,if one would saying some bad words that consists of threatening words or attacking words,he will need to go to court for that.I think ,it maybe away to teach others to help those people to learn a lesson if they get a fine for that.Some people need that and that's why we have law in the society.Singapore is a country like that as well and their city is clean not just in appearance but also in language as well.The way people raise up should never be an excuse to respect others.Nobody wants to change them if they choose to live that way.But that doesn't mean they can abuse people with their language either in public or in private.It may create lots of problem when try to enforce the law like this but education for the all the citizen through mass media and education ,modelling at home are all important factors as well.
