I couldn't foget this story shared with me by my big boss. He is a chinese businessman in DAVAO, Philippines. Very rich and sucessful. On the way to the crusher plant he told me the story of the two dads- the rich and the poor. Each dad had a different way of teaching his son. Specifically on the money, work and life that makes a big influence in decision the making of the child.

I know that story! It's a story told in Robert Kiyosaki's book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". I think reading that book will help you move from having the "mentality of the poor" to having "mentality of the rich"! It's one of my favorite books! Two thumbs up for that story and for that book! Highly recommended! :)

It seems that you did not complete the story. We would like to know how did each dad teach their respective sons? Who are successful between them? How can you relate it to the present generation?

I suggest you need to read the book for detailed illustrations. The story is about the two dads. The poor dad is a PHD teacher while the rich dad never finished even eight grade. Both father has conflict on views of money. The story focused on finacial literacy, work to learn, not for money; how to overcome obstacles; fear, cynicism, laziness and habits. This book teaches what the rich teach their kids about money-that the poor and middle class do not. :-)
