i often open my email first then click the link that can bring me to mylot. so sometimes i open a lot of window for i try to response all of my friends discussion. i response and support their discussion in every way i can. so sometimes i open atleast five. after responding to their discussion i lessen the window up to two. so i can search for discussion to response and the other window is to comment on my discussion. happy myloting everyone. have a great day ahead

Hi 7thbird, I used to open 15 windows at a time. i made a target of responding on to new discussions and comments to my responses in an hour. so, i enjoyed this. i still make sure that i make quality responses despite the speed and target.

15? wow that is freaking awesome. that is dizzyness for me har har har. well i guess if you have a target then that would be fun by daring yourself to accomplish that. good for you that you can do that without mixing it all up. thanks a lot for the response keep it up my friend

i dont think i can do that, for most of the time reading distruct me on responding. har har har i read a lot on mylot so sometimes i already log in for an hour but only responded a few. plus when my child sits down on my lap that slows me down.

of course i experienced a confusion and a mixed up on my responses early on but i am more careful now. i am happy that i can manage responding on to my target everytime i do mylot. i challenge you to do so. you can do it friend! it's fun reaching your goal for the hour!

Hi Se7enth,I too open multiple windows while mylotting because I want to tackle as many discussions of my dear friends in mylot when I am logged in,as possible....I also keep my gmail window open to get instant notifications that I get while mylotting..But very often this back fires on me and I sometimes miss out on some discussions in my eagerness to attend to more than one discussion at a time...he..he...But its all aprt of the game I guess.....

i guess your style is my style too. i open my email so i can get the comment at once of a member who is online too when i am online. it is easier to discuss with them when you know that they are online too. har har har one time this happened to me that i responded a wrong page for i was thinking i was on another window and the response was all mixed up. hilarious. but that only happened ones. i learned my lesson to make sure where i was before typing my response. thanks a lot for the response

I usually have multiple windows open with several tabs open on each. I have a range of news, sport, email, social networking, games, writing sites and anything else I may be researching at the time.

That's a lot of windows! I don't do that myself although I do open up different windows whilst I am posting away on My Lot. I like to listen to music whilst I am posting on My Lot as I find it helps me to concentrate. It's good if your system can handle it though, some systems that don't have enough memory would normally freeze! Andrew

i use to used dial up and that does not allow me to open a lot of window for it makes it slower than ever. now that i have a dsl it is more okay to open more than one even i am waiting something to download. it is indeed good to listen to music while doing mylot. thanks a lot for the response

I am not sure whether it is one or two, bird... as you know, whenever i switch on my p/c and go internet, i always open the window next to my desk in my office to let some fresh air in and provide some circulation to my often overheated computer motherboard. After that, i will use the usual window to log into Mylot and other sites through multiple tabs browsing. So in my case, i have one window open next to my seat, and another one inside my computer, can you tell me it is one or two window open as in my case???? hahahar.....

You are giving me an idea, because what i do usually is just concentrate on one discussion ,then go the the next one after i post my comment or impression. But sometimes i have two of my social networking site open to check if i got emails or comments there. Maybe next time i try to do that , and hope it increases my stats. Thank you for sharing this.

I don't open new windows when it comes to mylotting...I open new tabs instead. LOL I don't have a set amount open every single time though. Nor can I have too many open at once as I'm on dial up anyway. It tends to slow down the computer if I have too many windows or tabs open at once, especially if they are all trying to load at the same time, so I have to keep it to a minimum. Happy mylotting!

That's what I call multi-tasking! I usually just use my one. If I am searching something else or playing an online game where I have to wait for my turn, I may have two.

yes multitasking and it is fun. but sometimes i get stuck on a certain window specially if the discussion was really funny or the discussion was really serious and the response are so funny. i do read a lot here so it also keeps me company to open multiple windows. thanks a lot for the response

The Opera browser which I have recently downloaded does not close any windows unless I do it myself and so you will find a host of windows - countless sometimes. But I quickly close them as they get cluttered right up there.

I open as much as I can. I can only be at mylot when I have free time and that is not that long so I make sure that I can response to discussions that has the same interest that I do. I enjoy mylot and so I make it a point that I can have as much as I can when I am online. I also open my email to see whats inside so that would be an additional window to open.

glad to see you again in my discussion. well if you can only be at mylot on your free time then i guess that is the best thing that you can do.... to open as much windows as you can. the many the better as long as you wont mix up a discussion so that the response wont be mixed up as well. thanks a lot for the response
