Death Sentence by Kevin Bacon - Death Sentence is a 2007 crime-action-drama film loosely based on the 1975 novel by Brian Garfield. The film is directed by Saw director James Wan, and stars Kevin Bacon as Nick Hume, a man who takes the law into his own hands after his son is murdered by a gang as an initiation ritual, and must protect his family from the gang's vengeance. The film premiered on August 31, 2007. It took place and was filmed in Columbia, South Carolina. The film was released on DVD on January 8, 2008. Although a commercial disappointment, it received moderately favorably reviews, even by author Garfield.

I watched the movie Death Sentence this morning. I did not know that I like it so much, especially for the great performance by Kevin Bacon. The leading character in the movie tried his utmost to protect his own family by punishing those bad gangs that killed his elder son who was expert at hockey game. While I am happy that those bad gangs got their punishment eventually, I am so sorry that his wife was shot dead by those bad evils in their own house, an ending that I did not expect to have. But anyway, I like this movie very much. So have you watched this movie? How do you like it?

Hi, williamjisir. I have not seen this movie before that I have any knowledge of. I do love the movie, Stir of Echoes that Kevin Bacon has starred in. This was a very great movie to watch. I would like to see this movie because I know that if Kevin Bacon is in it, then it is worth watching. I am glad that you enjoyed this movie.

By the way, did you know Kevin Bacon won a Golden Globe award last night for the TV Movie, Taking Chance? I didn't watch the awards ceremony, but I read he won this morning.

Hello AmbiePam. It was released in 2007. I happened to find it online today and watched it twice and love it very much for his cool and wonderful performance. I did not know the second information you mentioned. I think that I am getting interested in his movies. And I will try to watch the movies by him when I am free. NO, I haven't seen it. In fact, I had never heard of it. But after looking it up, it seems like one I will have to put on my "to see" list. I usually like Kevin Bacon movies.
