What are the best methods of getting referrals? / myLot

What has worked for you? I've tried traffic exchanges, text ads, and any free advertising I can find. Do email ads work well? What about local advertising? Just wondering what has worked well for others?

I need help getting referrals too...sorry can't really offer any advice. I've had some success writing articles about the programs I am trying to promote and embedding my referral link in the article, but that's basically it. You could try that or blogging. If you can get some traffic and write persuasively about a site, you may be able to get people to sign up.

Thanks for that help. I've tried many methods such as social netwroking and the like. It's like looking for the golden ticket but I totally believe it can be done. Thanks and good luck.

Well. Referral exchanges, and offering incentive for someone to join under you seems to work well. My best luck i've had was when I launched a site of mine in relation to allowing people to post up payment proofs with referral links to their sites. I got over 100+ referrals from it and I didn't really do much of anything to get them. I'm expecting a pretty big boost in my downlines soon though as i've launched a GPT site recently and i'm releasing it to the public in the next few days.
