What your favorite simple pleasure?

I am at my bedside contemplating in my mind to know the simple pleasure which I could apply to my life. These kind of pleasure should not be an expensive or elaborate one and yet one could stay happy so simple and stay adorable. Is that possible?
Things which abounds in nature are boundless free and yet it is how the individual perceives which is best for her/him that is resulting in abundant joy that one could feel the gushing of the serenity on a sweet and calm day. I must say situation like their is totally absences of distraction or in a simple silence their it goes you could feel it in your whole being... something peaceful, such as simply gazing on the green grass/clouds, sleepin, hiking and the listing are endless... Do you already experience it and what it brings to you?
How about you, What do you think are the simple pleasures in life which are available and gladly enjoy by you? Could you give an example where you felt the same things?Kindly shares your thoughts. thanks.

I like to take my dog for a walk. She also likes
to play ball, this is a simple pleasure for us.
I like to hold and pet my cat, and listen to her
purr. These is simple things for me and gives
comfort. Living as I do the simple things are
important to do they will relieve stress and
make life be easier. A cook out in the yard is
a simple pleasure, and to have your family there.

Those things you mention are very reliable which anyone could imitate without too much pressure and if everyone have learn to do all the things at its simplicity one could feel the joy without having to resort to spend a lot of money for simple pleasure could only be found just around the corner. thanks.

That really the essence of life their are times one need to slow down to be in tune with nature and self. Since, the world moves so fast, many are living in stressful situation they forget to stop, think and relax in deep thoughts pondering the life at its best, learning to appreciate the simple thing bring happiness at heart content. thanks.

You know, this conversation takes me back to the time when I was just a child. Remember the commercial "simple pleasures are the best"? There is really a lot of truth in that statement. Simple pleasures could mean so many things..such as a quiet time to contemplate on your day, the taste of a good home cooked meal, a friendly smile from someone that made your day, watching your children and grandchildren play together. I could go on and on. Simple pleasure are really endless, yet we take them for granted. I think that anyone out there could really get a lot out of this discussion and start thinking of all the pleasures that we really have on a day to day basis, and start appreciating them more. Thank you!

I consider looking through the night sky that has so many stars is sure a simple pleasure for me even when I was a kid. Whenever I feel lonely I go out at night and look at the stars in the sky. It made me really comfortable that one day I decided to picture those stars as my friend giving me advises and smiling at me whenever I feel alone and sad. I seldom do it now though because we moved into a different location and viewing the sky at night is not always possible

yeah, by simply looking one feel calm and it is very relaxing somehow it make the worries away for awhile. Something which remind to of my childhood as i use to close my eyes then open it again and have imagine the dark sky with lot of stars following their lines, they form a shape many shapes like the small and big dipper. Then, their are times to that my playmates used to play games along side running which completely simple and yet now a days it is like a pleasure at lost. When one becomes so busy things like appreciating simple things get lost with no connection at all. But the sensitivity still there and whenever you have time you could still glance on it. thanks for sharing your thoughts.

It really gives a very relaxing feeling and it seems like you have so much peace of mind during that moment. Those pleasure and feeling is now very hard to come by but once you've experienced it again it's really a sensation or feeling that one could treasure.

Yeah, that very true indeed...
and those are priceless when one feel empty then just have to think of it and the misery slightly perish as one savor those joy feel within one heart and shares to those around you...

Simple pleasure?? It's easy for me. As long as i get to run, and be exploring mew running routes, it will be fine for me.. haha =D Just like yesterday, i went on the search of a new route, but only to find myself lost.. lol =D
BUt i wasn't worried, for i know there are others joggers around, and i can always ask them.. Though distance is tedious and long, still i enjoy it, for it's the thing i have always like to do.. hehe ^_^
It's simple, if one enjoys the whole process ^_^ hehe

alright, since running is your simple pleasures it well do good on your physical fitness and helps improves your endurance. Yeah, to enjoy the process or anything an individual need to have interest or else if he is pressure he would not likely succeed whatever effort one put on it..

I remember during my teens at the province, no electricity yet on that community before. During full moons young ladies and gentlemen goes out of their houses and hang out on top of the bridge, singing, talking to everyone, playing while the moon spread brightness all over. That's our simple pleasure...

My simplest pleasure is when I'm with my longtime friends, my high school friends. We gather up to meet in one place, eat drink, update life stories, and reminiscing our high school days. We already have 15 years of friendship! Yeheyy!!! And it's good that we already have the internet where we can keep in touch with our long lost friends.
Another simple pleasure is when I'm just in my room thinking of nice memories, reading magazines, and sleep after. Chocolates also makes me happy.

I do not have a particular favorite as I have much of these simple pleasures on my list. One would be watching the sunset especially from the top of the mountain or by the beach. Another would be walking and playing with my dogs. Watching the stars on a clear night sky especially when I am in the province is also something that brings me pure joy.

Sleep. Definitely something that sounds so simple, but pleasurable. Even more when having sucha busy life. Sometimes you just want to run away from everything, and sleep seems to be it.

My simple pleasure is going for a walk in the park on bright and sunny day.
Just looking at nature in her simplest form and how things change from month to month. From the animals to the plants that grow. How the paths changes either more rocks or less rocks. Seeing where trees have fallen that were never there before.
Looking for tracks or just feeling the sunshine on my face.

Yeah, appreciating the environment are one of the best things in life which everyone could enjoy and one could thin of the beauty of nature as free gift from God asking nothing in return but have to nurture it for it to survive. because of busy world most of the times people tend to slow down and often rush out to get ahead of the pack of the competition which result in lot of stress. Thus, if one pursue to have inner calm must learn to ponder to appreciate even the simple things have its own purposes and beauty to share fro all mankind to cherish. thanks.

they are variety and i could think of the sleeping as the simple things which i do most of the times it makes me relax my mind and body at the same time. i enjoy eating, strolling on the park and seeing the beautiful garden. most of the time i spent in simple thing just being around with friends who make me smile makes me happy.

I think the same thing it is free and one could spend less as long as the environment is quite fit. it helps to maintain healthy mind, body and heart at the same time. It is the best things to do to relieve stress then become restful soundly without annoying sights or noise could be possible. Also other simple things which are free to do could be also good to divert your attention then benefit form the result since it may become a sources of income like working but have fun at all.

I enjoy spending time with my animals. I love walking my dog and taking her to the park and letting her run. Another joy for me are my cats, I enjoy playing with them and just watching them. Reading, films are all simple inexpensive pastimes that are good for my soul just like being out in nature on a spring day. Sounds corny but the simple things often really are the best!

my favorite simple pleasure is knowing that the cash in my atm is getting more than it getting less. i know whatever happens to it would be my own doing but stingy that i am it truly makes my day whenever i would go to the bank to put something in it.

As a mother the first one that I immediately think of is every day when I hear my children tell me that they love me. It doesn't matter how rough my day has been, as long as I hear them say those three little words to me, I am able to find pleasure in the day. One of the other simple things that gives me pleasure is the fact that I am able to sit down at the end of the day and read. Reading has been one of the things that has brought me pleasure for almost as long as I can remember.

Hiya neelian,
There is a small Lake at the bottom of the green over the Road it has ducks and two Swans white ones and in the Lake there are three small Fountains which are switched on during the day. This is a really nice thing to be able to contemplate this on the way to the Shops so much so that you almost forget to go shopping if you are just sitting there.

in junior middle school, we need to take evening classes. there was ten minutes brake in between and this ten minutes was my favorite time at that time. usually i would like to go outside to the playground where there was no light and just black and very suitable for my mind to fly free. i would like to walk under black and think whatever i like, blindless to noise. i thought i was the gratest one. another simple pleasure during school time was that lying in bed in the evening, after finishing a whole day study i could finally do whatever i like, of course use my mind to execute.
when working, the simple pleasure come in this way: after finishing a whole day work and come back home, find out there is no laudry need to do and the only thing i need to do is just watch TV show or reading. that's also great.
