Am just wondering seeing this Mylot population, where all these members hiding? Ok, we can say 50% of them are inactive or 60% are inactive, but where the remaining!!!. Here almost all are familiar avatars. Atmost we can see a 10k people here if we watch for a week, whom we can call as active members. Friends, is it the only active space of Mylot and are we the only active members of Mylot? I think, not. There are lots of interests that none of us have added and there may be active people there, who are not the members of these interest categories,in which we are working. So we may have no contact at all with them. Do you think so?

I think it's both. There are a lot of inactive members, but there are also a lot of members that I don't interact with. I see them when I go over to 'no responses', 'hot', etc.

When something comes up in a discussion I add it, unless I am absolutely NOT interested in the topic (in which case, why did I respond to the discussion lol)...

Yes, I have the same feeling. It looks like most of the active members of Mylot are my friends. There are many people here. So, more people should come forward to start interesting discussions and respond to our discussions. I don't know where are all these people. There is a small possibility that the time zone of maximum active people over here is different from mine and they may be active when I am sleeping.

Yeah friend, the time zone is different as Mylot is a world wide community. Even though, if we watch Mylot for a whole day or a whole week, how many people we can see friend, really a small percent of the total population.right? Any way very happy to see your post after a long time in my discussion. Hope you will be active ,now onwards and hope can meet in more discussions. Have a great time here.

I think that probably about 1/8 of the nearly 196K members are active. Does this mean that I have had interaction with all of these people? No, it doesn't, I just basing this guess on the fact that I'm continually getting requests to be friends with new people and I am basing it on the assumption that there are lots of different discussions started each day. Some of these discussions we have the opportunity to see and many of them we don't see at all.

Maybe some other people dont feel like talking that much thats why your not able to see their ideas or they dont answer to your topics. But hey im glad that theres this kind of site where in we are able to share alot of ideas together. By the way im just new to this site but im feeling good about it already ;)
