court marriage vs ritualistic traditional marriage

what would you prefer? marrying in the court or marrying in the traditional way with all of its ritualistic fervor.please share your views.

For me its not the way how a marriage is celebrated. What counts much for me is that, I love the person I am marrying with, The celebration is mutually agreed, valid and in the presence of all the people close to me and my partner.

Marriage is a commitment and a commitment requires a celebration. You are not just the two of you but your own little world is there for you. Call them and celeberate with them and traditions have a beauty of their own. I have gone through this and no regrets.

Well since all marriage is ordained by God, and since I recognize him as having sole authority, what I prefer doesn't really matter. I am supposed to have my wedding in church, before God and Heaven, therefore that is what I will do. Court marriage is vastly cheaper I hear, but since God is more important to me, than the money He created, I'll have to ignore that.
