hey all this is for everybody of all nationalities here in the uk the queen is the so called head of state aswell as australia and a few other countries now I have my opinions on the royal family. But do you think in this day and age we should have an un-elected head of state ? and What do you think the queen and royal family does for the countries of which they are involved in ?

not much. if they didn't cost us the taxpayers money i'd tolerate them being stuck in a safari park or something. as it is they are the biggest welfare scoungers in the country.

My mother is english, I only lived there for 4 years when I was a teenager. Honestly I do not think the queen does much of anything. None of them really do. I feel they are more just like a celebrity than anything else. Actually some celebrities do more for people and charities than they do. I may be wrong since I do not live there, but the only news you see about them is bad.

hey sassy hhmm thnx for your input though what happens to all the tourists that come to say the uk to see the queen and the revenue that brings. Though is it democratic to have a royal family that is unelected I am not really for or againist the royal family but think there are pro#s and con's to them.

I love the hat the queen wears all the time! I was told its a multi coloured hat so she doesn't have to buy one. She just presses a button to the colour of the outfit she's wearing.. Brilliant!
