Humor is my top genre. I don't go out of my way to look for it, however - I just find it. I enjoy it more if it's partnered with Adventure. Humor's harder to write and making readers laugh is a gift not every writer has. For some reason, though, I often end up reading Angst and Drama. -_-"

I focus on Sailor Moon fanfics. My favorite genre to write is either Angst or Drama. With the occasional Romance. But angst and drama are at the top of my list. I find it easy to write about the misfortunes of others.

Ooh, Sailor Moon! Saturn was my favorite senshi because she's mysterious. :D Which characters do you write the most about when it comes to angst and drama?

The first time I saw Michiru, I fell in love. :D She's mysterious and elegant, and she plays the violin to boot!

Haruka and Michiru (Uranus and Neptune) are my favorite characters to write about. I find I have a hard time writing about anybody else, I've tried. My next favorite couple is Ami and Makoto, though I don't have any written stories about them yet.

I love the alternative reality arks in fanfiction and when they actually give proper endings to shows and series that sometimes could have done that extra bit more. Though some are better then others, I wish that some shows would get ideas from their fans and the fiction they create, sometimes I will enjoy a fan episode - where the same show is done slightly differently - then the original. Whatever the the category comedy, drama, etc as long as it is good. I once read a fanfiction a while back in which Jack survived and had set the mission to recover the necklace with Rose it was Titanic with a happy ending, it was beautifully written but I have wanted to see it again but haven't found it, that is the advantage of this type of fiction.

I kinda agree there. There are some fanfic writers who actually make better stories than the series writers themselves. Sometimes the original writers end their stories in an... unsatisfactory way, and I'm glad for fanficcers who provide the ending we want. I like AU too, and I love it even better when writers find a way to mix AU and canon in a really cool way. :D Thanks for answering!

I love reading hurt/comfort or angst. But, I can't write it. I mostly write fillers for episodes. Like what happens after a scene ends or before the episode. I'm picky about the kind of humor I read, but I'll read it if it's good.
