This video shows how crazy Frank is and how we should change the Constitution to suit his agenda. What do you think? I think they would change it back as soon as it didnt work for them!

Well this kind of proves a position I have stumbled into. A constitutional republic is where two hundred wolves and one hundred sheep decided who is for dinner. They have a piece of paper that says sheep cannot be eaten, but the wolves say that mutton is not the same thing as sheep. Back in the late 1700's a bunch of men that neither you nor me voted for created this cancer we call government. The idea from these men was that these cancer could be held in check by a band-aid called the Constitution. The problem is cancer is cancer and a band-aid will never stop cancer from spreading. Barney Frank is just the symptom of a cancer that should have never been created in the first place.

Like many elected officials he is ignorant of the basics of the US Constitution. The House was established to be the voice of the people and the US Senate was to be the voice of the States. This was done to prevent the Federal Government from becoming too powerful. Barney Frank seems to forget that the Democrats used the filibuster to block President Bush's Judicial Appointments. Maybe it is time that they all took a course in US History and the History of the US Constitution.

i don't think we should change the constitution to fit anyone's agenda, rather people need to change their agendas to fit the constitution.

That is just crazy, then again, it is coming from Barney Frank. Enough Said.
I don't think that anyone, regardless of party affiliation should just be allow to change the Constitution on a whim, just to help their agenda. If they want to amend the constitution they should at least allow the American people vote on it, then, if the American people vote to make a SPECIFIC amendment, then fine. But I don't trust them to actually put something out there for the people to vote on and actually tell us what their intentions are. The problem is, these politicians are all about control, they don't want people to have any say in anything. Obviously, since when the little people say anything they get taunted and called inappropriate names, for not agreeing with the majority party. Personally, I would be happiest if the power was split equally, that way, they would have to sit down and work WITH each other, and they would HAVE to listen to the American people (well, not so sure on this one..
)
But yea, of course they would change it back as soon as it didn't work for them, that's the game they always try to play, they change something to work in their favor, and then when they need it back the way it was they weasel their way into changing it back. It's ridiculous!
