Do you know someone that is superstition?

Well one thing I can tell you for sure is that I know a lot of people who are superstition especially my family, because they're Asian. I know some common superstition that people thing will give you bad luck like when walk in between a ladder, when you break a mirror, the black cat, others. But I know some Asian superstition especially Chinese since that's where most of my family is. Chinese people not only believe in bad luck but in bad spirits too. Like have you ever wonder why they have a Buddha or some sort of demon statue in Chinese restaurants? well that's to keep bad spirits away and some people put a mirror in top of a window or door too to keep spirits away. Another one will be the food, most Chinese people put oranges or other types of food besides a Buddha statue or other statues and in funerals too. Well they put the food because they think their spirits are hungry or some kind of stuff that I don't know but the thing is they leave the food there to feed their spirits. and the thing if you see food in a statue you can't touch it because if you do your going to have bad luck. Well that's mostly all the stuff I know. Do you know other types of superstition?
