I live in Southern California about 2 miles from Disneyland, and today we had one of the most severe storms in years. Over the course of 2 hours Orange and Los Angeles counties both got slammed with a terential downpour complete with a tornado touching down on Pacific Coast Highway flipping over cars, tearing off roofs and generally running amuck through the coastline. Other areas got so much rain in such a short period of time that whole sections of our city's are flooded and mudslides have been reported in the mountain areas affected by the fires last year. Any of you in the midwest can expect the same storm in a couple days. Now I know there needs to be a question here so here it is. In whatever part of the world your in, when was the last time you experienced highly unusual wheather in your area and how did you deal with it? Out here as I write this we are gearing for round 2 of an even stronger expected storm tomorrow, and people are trying to recover from serious flooding all over Southern California

I know how you feel. I live 30 minutes from Disneyland, and we have floods here and there. Southern California has had tornado problems every once in blue moon, but it is not very often. We get more earthquakes than we tornadoes.

Yeah your not far from me, I'm right on the border between Garden Grove and Anaheim. We were ok here, but LongBeach and other coastal areas, and some of Riverside county got hit really hard
