A toy box that has a mix of traditional toys is more likely to inspire creative play, the innovations and skills that help a child to develop and learn to enjoy playing, to enjoy the education and experience of using such toys. Many educational wooden toys help children to build critical lateral thinking and problem solving skills and improve fine motor skills. The benefits of traditional wooden toys are not just a nostalgic look back to the days of our own childhood; there are many more advanced reasons that benefit today's children directly. Do you still remember your traditional toys?

well, i can still remember my dolls. but speaking of educational toys, i don't have much toys in my childhood years, compared nowadays. just rocks and chalk for hopscotch. hands for playing, feet for running. leaves and flowers for cooking game. candy wrappers as money. i guess, those were the days when children go out and play with friends ( sweaty and smelly days , lol). i don't remember any wooden toys. but make to believe things, i do.

I had to smile when I read your response, donnakristel. Reminds me of my childhood, when we went outdoors to play and used our imaginations to make things out of everyday objects we found lying around. It was FUN to get all dirty and sweaty. Although kids have better technological ops today, we kids were more physically active and less obese.

Hi, both, you have a good childhood, you are right, we can find simple goods and play well, the feeling is important, whatever we take we are pleased with our friends, i was often hurt, cause I only care more about playing. Now i still has the scar. However it is good memory. Good luck!

I used to play a lot with building LEGO blocks. I'm usually quite fascinated by the different structure that are able to be built based on the pictures shown and I always try to follow them. It's a good way to train thinking skills.
