Some people are christian just because they were born Christian, but they don't know anything about this religion...

I call such people pseudo-christian but not christian. For me noone is born Christian. It's the day one knows well what Christianity means and accepts its rules that he becomes Christian. Otherwise, if we pour some drops of water on a new born dog and then say that it's also christian.

I call them make-believers. I get your point, but please understand that there are no "rules" to Christianity. Many of the make-believers feel that if they follow these supposed "rules" they are Christian. It's not the case. Christianity is about the renewal of the reltionship between man and God through spirit. There are no rules to follow, or tasks to complete.

Don't worry, its not just for Christianity, its for all the religions. In every religion, there is always this one person that says they are that religion but does not follow it. I have seen it with every religion. People don't know that religion is something that you have to learn about and figure out. People blindly follow what their parents and grandparents did, and do the same. All they are doing is imitating their ancestors. Finding religion is a journey, you don't follow the path everyone follows, you figure out what path you want. Not everyone goes through that journey though. And those who do are the people who represent their religion as something good. And also, they are those who know what their religion is and follow by it, rather than just call themselves whatever they are.

I do agree with you. But not all people are the same, you know, i learned about Christianity and about all monotheist religions even if i am a Muslim. And not because My studies are about that (I am a mathematician). i learned about that in order to compare and to check whether my choice is good. And till today with all my discussions with priests and rabbis with my choice of being a muslim.

Yes, your right, not all of them are like that. The best thing though is to always check out religions. I have studied the monotheistic religions, and I believe I have found mine. Not through the people and what they do, but with the rules and what the religion says. If someone is sure that they will know and follow what their religion says, then that religion is right for them.
