Wiccans are NOT devil worshippers

I feel your pain. But can we honestly say that in the wiccan community that there are not some who hold onto negative sterotypes of Christians? Last time, I checked the sterotypes went both ways. My personal theory about ignorance is that people are just too lazy to be open-minded and actually learn something about a religion outside of their own. Blessed be.

LOL you should see the reaction I get when it comes out that I blend Vodou practices into my personal path (which is a blend of Paganism/Witchcraft/Buddhism/N.Am Spirituality and Vodou)..all sorts of crazy assumptions come out of the mouths of some... yes at times ppl can be rude and sometimes downright cruel and hateful BUT I choose to NOT let it get to me. I mean whats the point ya know...I just see those types as uneducated on paths other than their own, narrowminded (in some cases) and so on. No need for me to worry about it. Its MY PATH..it WORKS FOR ME...it helps my to be a complete, loving, content, peaceful person and so on and thats all that matters.

I find this post very funny. Not the topic of it- no, but how people preceive Wiccans. I have a few Wiccan friends and they dont worship the devil. Wherever she goes she has to explain to everyone that she doesn't do that. Although, I myself don't know the religion too well, I know a few things that I learned from my friends. And that is one thing that I learned. And yeah, it is really annoying how people just listen to the stereotypes and assume. However, people are just curious. And aren't you glad that they ask you rather than just assume? Nevertheless, others just dont ask, those are the ignorant types.
