I remember when we climb Mount Samat here in Bataan. That experience was so cool, the Cross at the top of Mt. Samat is so Big. When we reached the top it was already dark, so we see light but still good experience. We've also been in Mt. Makiling and Mt. Banahaw, they are beautiful too.

I remembered those days in my childhood that I used to climb mountains since I was born in a small town surrounded with mountains. But that was a very long time ago. Now that I transferred to a city I didn't climb mountains anymore by feet. Because here in the city, yes, there are mountains but some of them are developed so if you go there you have to ride a car to see the scenic beauty of the place below.

Yes, I have climbed a mountain before. A few, actually, but my favorite is Mt. Monadnock. It's so beautiful there! I've only gone in the fall, when the leaves are changing color, and when you get to the summit, all you can see is a rainbow of trees below! It's absolutely amazing.

where I love the tallest mountain in the state is only 6 or 800 feet. My brother lives at the highest point of the mountain except the tower is a little higher.
I had some motorcyle ministry guys come from the east to visit a few times, and they took off before we got up one morning to go to the mountain. They were making fun when they got back because its our states highest point. They said they almost got a nosebleed it was so tall.

Yes, I have climbed a mountain before, when I was twenty years old. I climbed up to Peak 2 of Mt. Makiling. It's an exhilirating experience for me. The hard work is worth it as the view is breath taking. It also made me feel as if I've achieved something great.

I climbed a mountain before when I was in college. Me and some friends went up to peak 2 in Mt. Makiling. It was really a good experience, something all people should do once in their life.

the view from the top is always nice.
i've been to mt. famy and mt. makiling in laguna. great hikes especially the 5 waterfalls of famy, 4 small ones and one sizeable waterfall. very memorable during the landslides. hehe
taal volcano in batangas was nice too, with a great view of the crater. the soil formation is quite interesting, tells a lot that the mountain has been there for a long time.
the mountains of ifugao are great also especially in batad and sagada. pretty cold especially in the evenings. batad is in the heart of the rice terraces in the mountain province. in the evenings, on a clear night, the moon is so bright and looks so close, you could almost touch it. hot coffee seems to get cold after a minute. hehe
whereas sagada is a haven. i woke up one foggy morning, walked around pines trees and looked at the view of the crystal caves and hanging coffins. felt like in a different country.

As far as I am concerned, I live in a place where many mountain surrounded . I enjoy my howntown so much, because I usually climb the mountains myself . That's really fun. I like hiking so much. So I usually go out to some small mountain which is rather safe for me. I can enjoy ther by myself. That's my climbing experience.
