when i'm given a lot of spare time to think about things, i do tend to over analyze a lot. i don't only consider the things that is found inside the box, but also what's outside the box and everywhere else. i'm trying to distract myself from arriving to horrible conclusions, but sometimes my distractions fall short in efforts, that i wind up in a bad mood. does this happen to you? do you also have the tendency to over analyze?

I do analyzing everyday and many times a day.. I don't know but maybe because it's a natural for my personality. It helps sometimes however if it is an over analyzing one it will really distract my self. So, It's better to go out to refresh your mind that you think that will suites you or smell some fresh air from the nature and if you find yourself over analyzing you may find some solution for you to stop that because it will really distract you.

oh gee. sometimes i go out and i worry that everything around me would gain consciousness and move against me. but of course i try to divert my attention onto another thought that would reproduce a hundred other conclusions. but yeah, i think i don need something that would get me out of my mind. ;) thanks! :)

I believe that it is good to look inside and analyze yourself, but you need to analyze the right things. Spending hours debating with yourself over whether or not your friend had an ulterior motive to what she said is a perfect example of what not to do. I believe that people should look at themselves from an outside perspective and decide if they are who they want to be, and if they are on the right track to getting there. They most important thing is to see the truth and live in the world as it is, not as one wants to see it. Hope this helps, good day!

My sister calls me the over-analyzer! I think way too much into things. Everything, not just certain subjects. I get a million different ideas of possible outcomes of situations. I do not like to be this way...it's just the way I am. My best friend has told me over and over to tell myself "STOP" when I get on an analyzing spree, as surely I will drive myself crazy. Do you ever do anything to get yourself to stop the behavior?

I love to over analyze. The reason for that is that I love to look deeper into situations or subjects and try and find a hidden meaning or something that no one else can see in the same light. I love to over analyze everything. But I also don't do it in a bad way.
