On Breaking Up

It's just a random question that popped in my head. I know ending a relationship is hard to do but i want to know from you guys what are the ways to make the break up go smoothly..

When I break up with someone I prefer to do it face to face - but if there is absolutely no chance that that can happen then i have to use other methods. I believe that when I break up with someone I need good reasons and it has to be REAL reasons - that's the only reason why I would break up with someone. That is the time to talk to them about all the things that happened and why you have made the decision. End it with I'm sorry, but I hope we can still be friends in the future.

I agree with you guys.. Being honest to why you are breaking up with your partner is one of the best ways to go. I prefer talking to him face to face and maybe talking to him in a public place can avoid possible harmful reactions.. What do you think of that?

I think being open and honest is the best way to go. Do it face to face and as soon as possible as not to lead someone on. Come prepared with what you want to say about your feelings and do not put negative vibes into the conversation. Do not give hope in a deseparate time, be concise but honest. Expect tears and anger, some people will never take it well. Just be as honest as you can because it is the best in the long run.
