Quite a few of us have been here for some time now. I have been around for four years .I was just looking at some of the first posts I posted and saw that my topics for discussions have gradually changed over the years. Thankfully for the better. My discussions today are better debated an thought out than they were before. Have any one of you seen any change? Do go through your discussions maybe you will discovery something about yourself.

you've been here that long and have such a low number? I've been around and I have LOADS more than you do... I do think I have found that I can start better discussions, but I also have loads more friends to respond to them! More respondents, more discussions that are interesting.

I don't see a lot of change in my discussions from then to now. I guess it's because I am on a number of similar sites (Gather for example) and post on a number of forums, although they are not all paid forums like MyLot, so I am used to doing what I do on here.

I cringed when i looked at some of my older posts. I am human. But is there a certainty that i will not be embarrassed by what i am writing now. It is like reading old diary or notebook and having a good laugh. We are influenced by what we aim and the company we keep. Also what we read, makes a great impact at least on thinking if not in action. Greatly influenced by Ayn Rands concept of rationality, reasoning etc, but deep down i know that i am an emotional being trying to convince myself that i can be rational. Read Karl Pooper, David Hume. Serendipity, that is how i would label my journey on mylot. You look for something but find something else which is good, beneficial, salubrious, that is what serendipity is all about. Fortunate to have discovered mylot. Hope it chronicles the transitions which take place, without bias.

The fact that many of us started with dollars in ours eyes but eventually found in mylot a hoobby, might have something to do with the change in our discussion topics . I for one , have simply grown. I am better in terms of my understanding of this world than I was yesterday, and this often reflects in my discussions.
