For me the taste is not as good since they made them less fat and eliminated the trans-fats. Can you tell the difference?

Some places do have flat tasting fries. But I like to fix my own by bakingthem in the oven no grease that way!

I can't really tell the difference, I don't think. I don't have fast food that often though. But when I do have it, I have fries, and they are definitely one of my favorite fast foods. Now, at home we cook fries in the oven, so I guess I'm just used to fries that aren't drenched in grease. I prefer them that way. I think it's good that they try to make something like french fries a little less "bad", because they are so good, and any improvement is great. Then again, I also like the potato chips that are fat free, made with that Olean stuff, I'm not sure they make those anymore. Everyone has different tastes, I suppose.

I myself can't tell the difference, but I'm used to eating low fat food, and sugar free and all that stuff, so it doesn't make a difference to me..haha.

I don't get fries that often, and when I do I don't really notice. I perfer to bake them at home therefore eleminating the need to cook or add oils. Fries themselves can be healthy if eaten in moderation and coocked properly. Baking them is actually better for you then frying them in oil. So If I want fries I'd rather bake them at home rather then buying them at a restruant.

I really can't tell the difference, i eat fries but not that much. :D fries are fries, i think all fries are the same when fresh Only some are thick cut, and some are thinner. What really matters is what you dip/pair it in/with. cheers

its a fact for me that food with higher fat content tastes way better than healthy alternatives. because fat is soluble to saliva and did you know that yo cant actually taste the food you eat if it doesn't mix or is not soluble with your saliva??? thats why fatty foods are more delicious an tasty

hi elmiko I think since BurgerKing did away with the trans fats their fries are actually better tasting and much crisper too. they do make the best fries outside of oven baked fries homemade. I can no longer cook as I am here at Gold Crest.
