I would say its harder now to come up with new ideas. I guess the best way to make a film now would be to take a mixture of ideas from films and put it into 1 film. Thats just my idea. I did come across and watch a film I would consider a new idea or I could also say unique. Its an Independent film called Interstate 60. Has anyone seen it and if not I recommend it. Very Interesting

I guess for the past year,Hollywood made A LOT of remakes.if it's not a remake,it's based on a book.while there's no harm in doing remakes or book-based movies,it can get pretty tiring and boring.I've seen several movies, year after year, about the end of the world, latest being 2012.I wonder what "end of the world" movie will be shown this year.

Yup, it seems recent years Hollywood has produced quite a number of movies on natural disasters that threaten life extinction on Earth. The recent one is 2012, which I believe many of us could have already watched the movie. Movies of this genre almost always rank number One on the box office charts during their early releases. Elmiko, about the best way to make a movie that you mentioned, it was actually implemented. I didn't watch the movie, but I vaguely remember the title of the show was something like "The Horror Movie"?

Yeah I think they might be , or either because of the rescission they are afraid of losing money sticking to the types of movies that they know people will go and see , even if that does mean doing tons of remakes . All of this really bothers me because I would much rather see a new and interesting movie come out than see a remake or a rehashing of ideas from older movies .
