do you prefer shopping at high class stores or discount stores and why?

i prefer to shop at thrift stores or discount stores but sometimes the higher priced stores do offer good prices and great sales. i once got a pair of pants for $8- at an upscale store! (due to markdowns!)

I mostly preferred to choose in the discount stores,if you go to high class stores,there is a big price difference,but at the same time the quality of the cloth is not that much difference ,i have that experience ,so i preferred to choose to buy in discount stores,this is my view about this topic.
