Do U Have This Gift? (Patience)

Patience is defined as, good-natured tolerance of delay or imcompetence. Well, I am learning to deal with this more and more everyday now. I had to wait patiently for a book I ordered back in December, which I didn't receive until sometime in January. Now I just received a payment from a survey site which I had to wait about 4 weeks for it to be confirmed, then it stated I had to wait 4 more week for it to be transferred into my PayPal account. Now do you have this patience or do you fret, worry and get frustrated or upset? Which really isn't going to make it get here or there any faster.

I have always been pretty patient. Now, I worry about stuff, but not stuff like you are talking about. The stuff I worry about is out of my control, which really makes no sense. Patience really is a virtue though. It helps in so many situations.

Patience does help in many situation. I have learned not to worry too. Worrying is not pleasing to God. I cast all my cares and burdens on Him because he cares. Thanks and have a Blessed day. By the way how are you enjoing this lovely warm weather we are having here in Alabama?

I know it's not good to worry. I do pray about it and I have gotten better over the years. I try! I like the warmer temps but the rain makes me hurt and have bad headaches. The cold doesn't bother me that way.

I'm pretty patient. That is not to say I couldn't use more patience, because of course I can. But over the past ten year especially, my ablity to be patient has risen considerably. By the time I am 80 or so, maybe I'll have it mastered. Because it does seem to me that older people are the most patient people of all. Would you agree?

It really all depends on what I am doing. I usually have more with things I am working on than I have with people. I don't have much patience at all when it comes to dealing with people, especially stupid people, which usually isn't a good thing since I work in a restaurant. I am usually more patient when I am working on a project here at home, or when I am working on a side job for someone else. I usually get pretty aggravated at work sometimes when I have to deal with customers there, though, because I work in a chicken restaurant, and there are not many different ways to order the things we have on our menu, yet several people each day usually manage to make my job a lot harder than it has to be. Those are the type people that I have no patience for. I also don't have a lot of patience with my wife's family, but that is a topic for another discussion...LOL

I have patience but everything has a limit. Obtaining a degree is very long and hard so patience is needed. When you get home and you are hungry, patience is needed to cook food. There's a luxury you want and need to save monney to get, patience is required too. I think that we don'T have the choice but to be patient sometimes. It comes naturally.

I have this patience...I think most of my friends told me I have that kind..I think I can wait for a long time because I have faith that things will be done at the right time. Waiting for the things online that you ordered, I think we must be patience specially when ordering during December, because that month is a very busy month and January too. Be patience and I think you will receive it soon..don't worry..

Well, I always run out of patience before. I easily flare up and usually want things done right away. But later on, I have improved and have learned that there are things that we cannot get right away. Patience is truly a virtue. The moment we have this, we can surely be well and be happy.

It depends on what I have to be patient for. When it comes to online earnings I'm very patient. If it would take weeks for the payment to reach me but I know from trusted people that the site really pays, then I would wait patiently, like what I did at Trekpay. But if it is an important matter that I think is really urgent, I would be very impatient and do everything to speed up whatever it is that is being delayed if I can.

i don't have much patience. i think i was asleep when everybody was lining up to receive such gift. I hate waiting. It makes me really mad. I easily get angry too. I am a kind of person who is always on time so i hate it when someone keeps me waiting. It's just so unfair. If i can be there in an exact time, why can't somebody be... right? I am also a busy person.lol

I think patience grows with age. The younger the person, the little patience he or she has. But age mellows everything. But I think this can be learned and taught from childhood. I hope schools will incorporate lessons on patience in their curriculum so everyone will get to learn it from an early age. Rudeness is the by-product of lack or the absence of patience. People becomes rude when they are out of patience or tolerance.

I do and I don't. For the most part I have a lot of patience, but it depends on whether or not I'm waiting for someONE, or someTHING. I hate waiting for people. Especially if they tell me to hurry up then take their time. But I don't mind waiting for things. Normally when I've ordered something and I have to wait though then whatever. No point in getting angry over waiting for a book, because you're right, it won't make it come any faster!

it appears that i usually hurry up and wait. for example, a drs appointment. i have to be there at a particular time but i have to wait... patience isn't one of my best virtues to say the least. trials and contrary winds make me bow down to patience. it is so trying. i believe i am being taught patience in all these situations even though i fret, spass out, become anxious, you get the picture, right

Patience so they say is a virtue and I believe it really is! However I would not say I have much of that. Maybe in some case but in most cases I have very short patience especially when it involves waiting. I hate waiting for something that should come and yet could not come on time for whatever reason. Now for payment of services I've done, I think I will be the most impatient person when it comes to waiting for my money. I am a very efficient worker and I demand my employer to pay me on time to compensate my efficiency. For other services or jobs I do, I think I will not be very happy if I get the payment too late than what I expect. I am always a fast person. I work fast and I do it very diligently and efficiently so I expect my compensation to come to me just as fast as I delivered the job. This is the reason why I don't engage in online jobs or any other works that don't pay me immediately as I request payment. Most Survey sites are really very slow in paying so I don't engage in them.

yeah, I am somehow patient in several times. But if there is any provoking factors around, I readily lose up my temper! Being patient is an extreme knowledge, however, it is a must that you have it in order to avoid problems
