The Outcome of Scott Brown Winning the Senate in Massachusetts Was Deserving

Scott Brown went out of his way to campaign while the democrat Martha Coakley running for the senate seat took it for granted she would win doing nothing. Why should she win? However, it just wasn't about the democrat not campaigning that lost her the election but the polls show it was mainly about Massachusetts not favoring Health Care Reform. Still if you want to win the Senate seat you should at least be willing to campaign for it.

So true adn the Dems also thought they could buy it for her. Yes aam glad to that Mass. is against the healthcare plan. I think more elections will go this way this year!

She did take it for granted that she would win just because she had a (D) by her name....and it bit her in the butt. While he went out and worked his butt off to get it. It did shock me. I thought MA was about as blue as a state could get. This is a game changer. If MA can change parties...then they ALL are up for grabs. People are mad and fed up and it is showing.

I was actually surprised that Massachusetts opposed the health care bill. It's always been a more liberal state. What I read on Martha Coakley and her record as a DA was I think the kicker. I would have thought the Democrats would pick a better candidate than that. We will see how Brown does, what he does. It's been interesting so far... got to love a man who loves his truck though!

I don't know who really dropped the ball here. Maybe the seat had been democratic for so many years they thought they had it in the bag. Wake up politicians, the people are angry and want jobs. Health Care Reform is important but after I heard about the deal they made with the labor unions I'm turned off to this go around. We need jobs folks.
