Now a days, a lot of social network arises. To name a few, there is what you called "FaceBook", "Twitter", "Friendster" and "Multiply". Since this social network is free, a lot of people registers and post their photos in this site. Aside from that, they also use this as their diary, wherein they share some stories and interest.
However, signing on this social network is sometimes fictitious. Some uses a bogus name wherein they sign-in using the names of a well-known personality. In this situation, how can we know or how can you know if the social network is really owned by that person whose name is appearing on it? What do you feel if he or she is not using the real name on his Facebook, Twitter, and any other else.

The social networking sites have always had this problem. Some do try to take measures to ensure it is not a "phony" profile, but the bottom line is you really take things in stride and just accept the fact some profiles may not be the real thing. I have also noticed the social sites also offer an avenue to build a network in order to cash in on the many "money making opportunities" available online. Mind you, some of these money makers are actually scams themselves. Plain and simple...Its a jungle out there...so best beware! You already have a head start because you are aware of what is going on...imagine if you had no clue!!!

You can't, unless you know the person in real life. But why does it matter? Whether or not they use their real name isn't important. What matters more is whether or not they're good people. A bad person who uses his real name is still worse than a kind soul who doesn't want to reveal their real name online. I myself don't use my real name, so I don't find it at all surprising that others don't either. My friends can find me since I can tell them the name I'm using, and whoever I don't tell my online name to, I don't care about talking to on Facebook or Twitter or whatever.
