I was waiting to cross the street with a bag of cat litter. The street was very quiet exept for an SUV who's turnsignal indicated a turn several feet away from me. I began to cross, the SUV didn't end up turning at all and plowed right into me. I flung my head to the side, moving with the vehicle. My glasses flew off and my packages flew everywhere....that so-and so never stopped.

They're everywhere and of all ages. I am more afraid to them than my own driving. No matter how defensive we are, there are those people who are too stupid that they never think of others. And everyday I encountered many of them.

damn second drive just lost first response. yes a crazy driver almost killed me when he ran a red light as I was crossing on the green light to work. he yelled, old lady cant you walk faster? well now I am slightly handicapped so am not able to run, well he just zipped right past me and turned onto the street I was going to walk up to work. I heard a police siren but did not pay any attention as the police station was right next to where I worked in the library in the civic center. I got up even with the library and there was MrZipp by me, and a cop car. the police officer called to me and asked me,did this man almost hit you in the crosswalk back there at first and x street? I said oh yes he sure did. then he thanked me as he wrote the idiot a big fat ticket. I went in to work then.

Alot of drivers do not yield to pedestrians like they're supposed to.It's hard walking around when you have to cross the street.I've been yelled at,by someone to get the F**k out of the street. At least the guy got a ticket for it.that's very rude.

I have definitely seen these in the past. These people are all over! So it's not just around where you live. A lot of people are just.. totally careless on the road, which is too bad for the innocent bystanders and the people who are just trying to get to work or home or whatever *shrugs*.

Yes I have. Actually I was IN the car, actually a cab to be exact. The driver was a middle age man and in a very squeezy traffic, he was moving from one lane to another just to outwin a Mercs (like just to be one car front infront of the Mercs). Of course it wasn't something to do with speeding (as I mentioned the road condition was very bad) but the driver was squeezing through the very small space from one lane to another which could have easily cause an accident (but thankfully, he didn't)

I have seen many drivers like that. They are so anxious to get where they are going that they spped around every car they come across and go through red lights. I have never seen any car driving like that hit another car or go off the road but I often say that when there is bad weather outside(like snow or rain) I hope I see you in the ditch up ahead. I also think that when I see people drive like that I wonder where the police are to stop these people who are driving bad.

Yes, I have experienced some pretty crazy drivers out on the road. Not to long ago, my husband and I were on our way home from the doctor's office. I couldn't drive because I had injured my knee. There was this man in a truck behind us. We were at a light where we had to turn on the arrow or yield then turn. Well, the traffic was extremely heavy. The man kept honking his horn trying to get us to move and we couldn't. He started to push up on the bumper of our car. I was scared at this point wondering what he would do next. When the light turned green and we could go, my husband began to turn as usual. The man sped his truck around us then slammed on his breaks. Which of course forced my husband to slam on ours. When he did it jolted me and hurt my already very sore leg. I was in tears from the pain. The man had jumped out of his truck and was yelling at my husband about the way he was driving. My husband got out and explained to him that he had just injured me even further with what he did. The man yelled back at my husband that he didn't care, jumped back in his truck and drove away. While this was going on. I had taken down the man's license plate number, the make of the truck, etc and called the police on my mobile phone. The police met us at our home and asked if I wanted to press charges since I was the one that was injured. I did. When I saw the man in court. He looked very hurt and unsure of things. I explained to the judge what had happened. The man was arrested for aggravated assault. It was the first time he had ever had any trouble with the law. After the trial, I went up and spoke to the man. I apologized for having him arrested, but I also explained to him what his actions had done and how they affected my already injured knee. When he had seen me on the crutches and the pain I was in, he was shocked that he could have caused what he did. He ended up in jail for 6 months and had to pay half of my medical expenses. He sent me a letter after he was out apologizing for what he had done and said he now understood why he was in the wrong. The sad part is, it took him winding up in jail for him to realize this. Not in the beginning when he was already taking such mean actions towards us at the light.

Yes, believe me, I have seen more than my fair share of crazy drivers. People with no regard for themselves or others. They fly down this road at alarming speeds. You would need to make sure everything is clear without a doubt, before leaving the driveway. Also, I have had some perilous encounters in a parking lot of all places and I was walking. A lot of crazy people driving out there. Makes me wonder how they got their licenses sometimes.

I haven't been driving for that long, but I have seen a couple wreckless drivers. Just the other day I was trying to back out of a parking space- I looked both ways to make sure no one was coming, and started to come out when some dude came speeding down the parking lot lane, he even had the nerve to honk at ME. If I could, I want to make a bumper sticker that says "I Never Trust Other Drivers."

What? Driving crazy isn't the norm?!* I frequently have to drive in the DC/VA/MD area which consistently ranks in the top 5 cities with the rudest drivers. I could write a book about my harrowing experiences, but I don't like horror stories (especially when they happen to me). *Facetious statement

I've seen people like that who do not obey the rules set by the police, the rules may not directly drive at red light. If the red light, we as citizens must stop

I did! I did!!! He's so crazy!!! This what happened... A friend invited us for a joyride in tagaytay.. so we pack our things up, make some sandwiches and hit the highway by 3 in the morning... Cold still enjoy because this is a one time chance with friends that December because of our work schedules. While we are traveling along tagaytay road, we didn't noticed that our speed was 60kmp to think there's no street lights, roads were narrow, zero visibility because of fogs and our crazy driver was half asleep! Our van almost fell down from the mountain where the road was constructed. Thanks to one of our friends who's very quick that time saw that will happen. He immediately steer the wheel to avoid the accident and stop the van beside the road. This experience will never be forgotten and will be a lesson for everyone of us. Don't drive if you are sleepy.

yes in puerto rico at around 11 pm one night i was driving back from a friend's house who lived on a mountain there and the road winds down the side of the mountain and one one side of the road you have the mountain itself and on the other side you have about a goo 300 ft drop and this maniac came straight towards me he was in a jeep i was in a honda crv and he was straddling both lanes with the jeep. i had to swerve to the right because i had less than 2 secs to react the honda almost went over into the drop that was the closest i've ever been to dying inside of a car.

Dear friend, I seen a lot in our traffic even though the police see it and enjoy it at times, until an accident occurs. I had seen it in much rushy traffics. Moreover it is like a circus in some roads in too rushy. The traffic police man at time feels like a joker in the circus ring.

Yes, I have seen a lot of those undisciplined drivers in our area. I have been driving for quite a time and there are just times that they make me crazy and mad. But later on I have realized that getting mad will only make matters worst. So ever time I see them I just let it go and take a deep breath and be on my way.

Oh, yes. I hated that day. The driver drove the car like a drunkard. One passenger confronted him, and so did I. I told him I was still young, I had a future and family and I didn't wanna die that day. He was mad, but then gave up. But it didn't make anything better though.

They're everywhere. The main reason why i hate riding a bus in our main thoroughfare is the drivers. They're trying to overtake other vehicles so they can get more commuters. Have you seen a bus race? a car race perhaps. But just imagine your self in a bus going over 70 to 80 kph with several buses on your side and they keep swerving lanes to avoid the vehicles in front of them. Scare the hell out of me. I used to like this type of ride when i was younger but it's scaring the wits out of me now. Good thing there's metro rail transit.
