I have seen people eat eggs in their salad and to me that just seems so disgusting and gross! It seems like those sort of things just don't go together. How do you feel about that? Do you eat eggs in your salad?

Urgh! I cannot stand boiled eggs, hot or cold so this is something I avoid putting in salads at home. If I am eating and a friends and they have out in some egg I just try to remove it rather than eating it out of politeness.

Count me as another person who likes eggs in her salad! We all have different likes and dislikes though, so nothing wrong with not liking it. For instance, I don't like tomatoes in my salad. If I have salad with tomatoes in it I will usually try to eat a bite or two of the tomato but I end up leaving most of it.

I myself can eat eggs in other ways like scrambled, boiled, egg salad on a sandwich but in a salad is just not for me. I love tomatoes though!

I like boiled egg in my salads. I'll add it to my salad if I have some done up. I used to get this huge salad from a restaurant (sadly has closed) that had grilled chicken & boiled egg in it. YUM! Plus it's a cheap substitute for protein if you are just having a salad for a meal.

What is wrong with that? I mean it is not as if one is urinating in the salad or doing number one in the salad and eating it or mixing cow pies or nose droppings in the salad? I mean that would be disgusting. The eggs are hard cooked and sliced before they put them in salads, not raw. And it all depends on what kind of salad it is. They do not go with a regular lettuce, and tomato salad, but perhaps another type of salad. I have not had them in a salad, but I have had egg salad sandwiches that are hard boiled eggs, mixed with mayonnaise, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, green onions, and in some cases, finely chopped celery.

I see no problem with hard boiled egg in a salad. I think it’s quite nice. I put hard boiled egg in my potato salad as well. I fail to see why it would be gross. I like egg and cheese along with my lettuce, tomato, carrot, avocado, etc. My mum used to make me egg and salad sandwiches when I lived at home and they were quite nice too. Nope...Don’t see the problem with that one!

I really enjoy a good boiled egg in my salad! That's some good stuff now! But I also like sunflower seeds in it too! And grated cheese! I don't like fruit in it though, now that's disgusting!
