Converting a VCD to DVD

Does anyone know how can I convert my VCD to DVD using free software?

vcd file format is .dat and dvd file format is .vob and simply converting dat to vob want do as one need to author dvd. so for that you should be lookin for a software which can conver dat to vob and author dvd. i know nero which is the best software around but not sure about and freeware.

its very simple. just open nero vision and select option good for you. lot of description is also given for each of option.
