These were definitely interesting movies. Although, I didn't like the ending to Knowing. Nicolas Cage was killed at the end here...that's just not right. Oh, well...nothing I can do about it. Now, Eagle Eye was a really good movie. I'm going to have to aquire this movie sometime. It has the guy from Transformers, Shea LeBouf(sp?). He's definitely coming into his own as far as being an actor.

Okay, now I am going to look like I am very behind the times. I've never heard of either of these movies. So, since I haven't heard of them but I see that you are giving Eagle Eye a good review, I am going to have to look for it so that I will be able to see it for myself. I'm just now starting to get back into watching movies after not watching any for quite some time. I can easily date myself by saying that I remember Shia from Lizzy McGuire.

That was a while ago. lol I think you'll like Eagle Eye. It was definitely an action-packed film. Knowing wasn't a bad movie either. I just didn't like the ending. That's just my opinion though.

The spelling of the name of the actor is 'Shia LaBeouf' Exactly like you, I liked Eagle Eye, but did not like Knowing. Knowing started off pretty well, but aliens saving a couple of kids hardly make an interesting climax. Eagle eye was very intriguing and I loved the movie. Well, I am not sure about LaBeouf's acting skills but they have improved quite a lot. He was pretty good in Transformers 2 as well.

In all the "end of the world" movies I've seen, there's always been a possibility of reversing the outcome...Armegeddon, Deep Impact, etc. etc. This one is like "Why tell me these things if I can try and change it?" That whole plot point just stinks. I guess the only sticking point with Knowing is it makes you value the time you have with your family while you are able to.

I did not enjoy Knowing much...it just made me uncomfortable to watch. Seeing all the people dying (like during the plane crash) is just unnerving! And like you, I didn't like the ending. What a terrible, creepy situation! But I did enjoy Eagle Eye. It's a cool movie; good action, good acting, suspenseful! And Shia Lebuff looks GOOD in that cop uniform at the end ;P lol
